Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a base station to map one or more DMRSs to one or more REs of a slot based on the locations of one or more CRSs in the slot and/or based on whether at least one DMRS overlaps with at least one CRS. In one aspect, the base station maps PDCCH DMRS of a first RAT to a CORESET based on whether CRS of a second RAT overlaps at least partially with the CORESET. The base station transmits the PDCCH DMRS mapped to the CORESET.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods, devices, and systems for wireless communications. A wireless communications system may support unicast and broadcast communications for different radio access technologies (RATs). To support the coexistence of different RATs, a user equipment (UE) may report, to a base station, a UE capability message containing a band combination including one or more bands for a first RAT (for example, New Radio (NR)) and one or more bands for a second RAT (for example, Long Term Evolution (LTE)) and an indication of a baseband budget for the second RAT for the band combination. In some implementations, the UE may transmit a broadcast interest indicator to the base station requesting a broadcast service. The base station may configure the UE with a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration based on the UE capabilities, such as the band combination and corresponding baseband budget for the second RAT, and the interest indicator.

Abstract: A UE may receive, from at least one cell via at least one bit in a MIB or a SIB, a barring indication based on a supported network of the at least one cell and a supported network of the UE. The supported network of the at least one cell may correspond to a TN or an NTN, and the supported network of the UE may correspond to a TN or an NTN. The UE may skip, based on the received barring indication, a selection of the at least one cell for communication. Accordingly, the UE may not camp on the at least one cell. The barring indication for NTN-supporting UEs and for TN-supporting UEs may be separately indicated via the MIB or the SIB.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may identify a transport block (TB) size for a TB that is scheduled across a set of component carriers (CCs) including a first CC and a second CC. The TB may include a first code block (CB) and a second CB. The device may rate match the TB with the set of CCs. Based on the rate matching, the device may identify redundancy portions of the first CB and redundancy portions of the second CB. The device may allocate a first redundancy portion of the first CB and a first redundancy portion of the second CB to the first CC, and may allocate a second redundancy portion of the first CB and a second redundancy portion of the second CB to the second CC. The device may transmit the TB over the set of CCs based on the allocating.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a report of a maximum transport block size supported by the UE for if hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback is enabled and a maximum transport block size for is HARQ is disabled. The UE may receive, based at least in part on transmitting the report, one or more transport blocks that have a transport block size that does not exceed the maximum transport block sizes supported by the UE. In some aspects, the UE may receive an indication of a length of a span for receiving a set of bits from channel encoder output for a transport block or a redundancy version of a transport block. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a downlink control information (DCI) message to one or more user equipments (UEs) scheduling a multicast data message in a multicast downlink shared channel, the DCI message indicating a feedback process identifier (ID) for the multicast data message. The base station may transmit an additional DCI message to a UE scheduling a retransmission of the multicast data message in a unicast downlink shared channel and indicating a feedback process ID for the retransmission of the multicast data message. The feedback process ID for the retransmission may be the same as, or different from, the initial transmission of the multicast data message. The UE may transmit feedback for the multicast data message based on receiving the initial transmission of the multicast data or the retransmission of the multicast data and the feedback process IDs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a base station may transmit system information indicating multiple multicast-broadcast network areas, and may further provide configuration information for each multicast-broadcast network area indicating a location of multicast scheduling information (MSI). The MSI may include an indication of frequency resources on which to receive broadcast or multicast services. The MSI may indicate specific services for an multicast-broadcast network area that are provided via the different frequency resources (for example, different cells, carriers, channels, among other examples). In some examples, the base station may schedule broadcast or multicast services across frequency resources via semi-persistent scheduling. The MSI may indicate a redundancy version configuration (for example, time and frequency patterns for combined redundancy version broadcast transmissions).

A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling, such as a control message or radio resource control (RRC) signaling, from a base station indicating a time interval over which to determine available power headroom relative to a transmission power threshold. The UE may calculate the available power headroom relative to the transmission power threshold as a function of UE transmission power during the time interval. The UE may transmit a power headroom report in an uplink transmission to the base station, the power headroom report indicating the calculated available power headroom. The base station may schedule one or more uplink messages at the UE according to the available power headroom.

In a wireless communications system, a base station may transmit an indication of a pre-compensation timing value for transmission of a random access message by an aerial user equipment (UE), the random access message part of a random access procedure between the base station and the aerial UE when the aerial UE is in a connected state. The pre-compensation timing value may be based on a location of the aerial UE. In some examples, the base station may monitor a set of random access resources associated with the pre-compensation timing value and the aerial UE for the random access message, and the aerial UE may transmit the random access message using a first random access resource of a set of random access resources associated with the pre-compensation timing value and the aerial UE.
