Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for assisted mmW sidelink beam discovery in non-standalone mode. A UE may transmit, to an AN, a request to access one or more ADs. The request may be based on an absence of at least one BPL that has a threshold QoS for a DRB with a second UE. The UE may receive, from the AN based on the transmitted request, an authorization to access the one or more ADs, and exchange, via an SRB, beam training information with the second UE based on the authorization to access the one or more ADs for performing a beam training procedure via the one or more ADs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An example method for wireless communication at a first user equipment (UE) may include receiving at least a first sidelink transmission from a second UE, wherein at least a second sidelink transmission from a third UE is scheduled contemporaneously with at least the first sidelink transmission from the second UE. The method may also include transmitting an indication in a transmission occasion to at least one of the second UE or the third UE based at least in part on a prioritization of information for the transmission occasion, wherein the indication indicates that at least the first sidelink transmission from the second UE is scheduled contemporaneously with at least the second sidelink transmission from at least the third UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device (such as a first user equipment (UE)) may communicate control signaling indicating a resource allocation for a sidelink channel. The first UE may receive, from a second UE, a first resource map. The first resource map may indicate a first sidelink transmission scheduled within a first time and frequency resource of the resource allocation, a first priority level of the first resource map, and a parameter threshold used to generate the first resource map. In some cases, the first UE may communicate a second sidelink transmission within the resource allocation for the sidelink channel based on the first resource map.

Abstract: A first UE may determine that a BPL with a second UE has degraded below a threshold and generate, based on the determination, a beam training frame for an on-demand beam training procedure. The beam training frame may include a first AGC symbol, SCI indicating that the beam training frame is for beam training, and one or more sets of an AGC symbol and beam sweeping reference signals. The first UE may transmit the beam training frame multiplexed with one or more data frames to the second UE. The second UE may receive the beam training frame for the on-demand beam training procedure based on a determination that the BPL with the first UE has degraded below the threshold.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a wireless device to perform an SL ranging based on a single-sided PRS transmission. In one aspect, a first wireless device transmits one or more reference signals to at least one RIS associated with a second wireless device. The first wireless device receives one or more reflected reference signals reflected from the at least one RIS. The first wireless device calculates a signal RTT based on the one or more reference signals and the one or more reflected reference signals. In another aspect, a second wireless device transmits, to a first wireless device, information indicating a time, a duration, or a periodicity in which at least one RIS associated with the second wireless device is to be activated. The second wireless device activate the at least one RIS based on the information.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to wireless communications including sidelink communications between wireless devices. Adaptation of a resource exclusion reference signal receive power (RSRP) threshold for scheduling resources for a device using such sidelink communications includes utilization of first and second time/frequency windows of available resources to determine the number of free resources in each window. If the free resources in either window are less than a predetermined free resource threshold, the resource exclusion RSRP threshold is increased to gain further potential time/frequency resources that may be scheduled by the device.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes transmitting, by a wireless communication device, a transmission using a first set of transmission resources, wherein the transmission includes an indication of a second set of one or more of transmission resources in the future that the wireless communication device intends to use for one or more second transmissions, and wherein the transmission includes a total transmit power QCL indication for at least one transmission of the one or more second transmissions. The method further includes transmitting, by the wireless communication device, a particular transmission of the one or more second transmissions using a particular set of transmission resources of the second set of one or more of transmission resources based on the total transmit power QCL indication. In another aspect, a transmit power configuration indication may be sent in place of the total transmit power QCL indication, as a generalization and extension of the TTP QCL indication. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a first sidelink message using a first beam, where the first sidelink message corresponds to a feedback time interval for receiving feedback associated with the first sidelink message. The UE may transmit a second sidelink message using a second beam that is different from the first beam, where the second beam is also associated with the feedback time interval for receiving feedback associated with the second sidelink message. The UE may then select (from one of the first beam of the second beam) a receive beam to receive feedback during the feedback time interval, and based on the receive beam selection, the UE may monitor for feedback associated with the first sidelink message or the second sidelink message, or both.
