    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication for a reference signal to be transmitted on a first carrier, wherein the UE is configured for reference signal carrier switching between the first carrier and a second carrier associated with uplink data channel or control channel transmission. The UE may receive an indication for uplink transmission switching between the second carrier and a third carrier. The UE may transmit, or suspend transmission, on the third carrier during a time associated with transmission of the reference signal on the first carrier based at least in part on the UE being configured for reference signal carrier switching and uplink transmission switching.     Abstract: Techniques are discussed herein identify transmission strategies and to communicate those identified transmission strategies in a transparent communication environment. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may identify a new transmission strategy for a downlink channel different from a current transmission strategy for the down link channel. The UE may transmit a channel state information (CSI) message that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the UE. In some examples, a base station may identify the new transmission strategy for the downlink channel. The base station may transmit a codebook subset restriction (CSR) indicator that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the base station. In some examples, the UE may modify its feedback strategy based on the new transmission strategy.

    Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a user equipment (UE) to signal a capability corresponding to a number of active beams (e.g., active uplink beams) to a base station so that the UE may be appropriately configured, and so that the UE may communicate with the base station accordingly.
