Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to reduce interference caused by power leakage. A first user equipment (UE) or a base station may select communication resources for a sidelink communication based on a distance between UEs reserving frequency resources in a same time window. The first UE or the base station may determine a distance parameter between the first UE and one or more other UEs (e.g., including a second UE) reserving frequency resources within the time window. The distance parameter may represent a physical distance between the first and second UEs or a reference signal received power of the second UE as received by the first UE. The first UE or the base station may select communication resources based on whether the distance parameter is below a threshold, and the first UE may communicate the sidelink communication using the selected resources.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for licensed wireless in-vehicle network access based on emergency network access control. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes detecting a trigger event for an emergency network access procedure. The method also includes, in response to detecting the trigger event, transmitting a first message to a base station, the first message comprising a request to use one or more licensed bands for communication via a wireless in-vehicle network (wIVN). The method also includes receiving a second message from the base station, the second message granting the use of the one or more licensed bands for communication via the wIVN.

Abstract: A video stream scheduling unit may schedule resource allocations for each video frame of a plurality of video frames of video streams from a plurality of video sources based on a compressed frame type of the video frame, determine that a total frequency bandwidth of scheduled resource allocations for the frames concurrently due for transmission is greater than or equal to a threshold bandwidth, and receive the video streams from the plurality of video sources based on the scheduled resource allocations. The scheduling unit may delay or cancel a video frame with low priority or may instruct a video source to increase the compression rate of the video stream.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may include a radar which is used for object detection, such as a vehicle UE detecting other vehicle UEs in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications system. The UE may be configured for coordinated interference, where radars transmit a common waveform while applying different delays to prevent negative co-channel interference effects, such as false or ghost targets. The techniques described herein support configuring a common configuration for network-assisted coordinated interference by considering capabilities of UEs and radars within a geographic area controlled by a network entity. The network entity may identify and indicate a waveform configuration which is used by radars within the geographic control area of the network entity.

An example method performed by an apparatus comprising a radar device includes transmitting, based on a transmission configuration, one or more first signals of a plurality of signals in an environment via the radar device in a first frame of a plurality of frames according to a first delay value occurring after a frame prior to the first frame and transmitting one or more second signals via the radar device in at least a second frame of the plurality of frames according to a second delay value occurring after the first frame based on the transmission configuration. In some cases, the transmission configuration comprises a common transmission configuration for use in the environment. Additionally, in some cases, the second delay value is different from the first delay value.
