Abstract: A method for producing an electrolytic capacitor includes: preparing an anode foil, a cathode foil, and a fibrous structure, the anode foil having a porous portion including a dielectric layer; preparing a conductive polymer-containing liquid, the conductive polymer-containing liquid containing a conductive polymer component and a first solvent;
forming a separator by removing at least a part of the first solvent after applying the conductive polymer-containing liquid to the fibrous structure; forming a capacitor element from the anode foil, the separator, and the cathode foil; and impregnating the capacitor element with an electrolytic solution. An electrical conductivity of the electrolytic solution at 30° C. is 3.0 mS/cm or more.-

Abstract: An electrode foil for an electrolytic capacitor includes an anode electrode body including a base material part having a porous body portion, and a dielectric layer disposed on a surface of the porous body portion. The anode electrode body has a first main surface in which pores of the porous body portion are opened, a second main surface opposite to the first main surface, and an end surface connecting the first main surface and the second main surface. In the porous body portion, a first film thickness of the dielectric layer in an end surface vicinity region is larger than a second film thickness of the dielectric layer in a deep inner region, the end surface vicinity region being a region within a predetermined distance from the end surface, the deep inner region being a region located away from the first main surface and at a central portion in a direction parallel to the first main surface.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes an anode body having a dielectric layer disposed on a surface of the anode body, a solid electrolyte layer that is in contact with the dielectric layer, and an electrolytic solution. The solid electrolyte layer includes a conductive polymer. The electrolytic solution contains a first base component, a first acid component, and a second acid component. The first base component includes an amidine compound. The first acid component includes a composite compound of an inorganic acid and an organic acid. The second acid component includes at least one selected from a group consisting of boric acid, phosphoric acid, phosphorous acid, hypophosphorous acid, and phosphonic acid.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes an anode body, a cathode body, and a conductive polymer and a liquid component that are disposed between the anode body and the cathode body. The liquid component contains an acid component, a base component, and an aromatic additive. The acid component includes at least one of an aromatic carboxylic acid and an aromatic carboxylic acid derivative. The at least one of the aromatic carboxylic acid and the aromatic carboxylic acid derivative includes at least two carboxy groups and at least one aromatic ring. A content proportion of the base component in the liquid component is more than or equal to 1% by mass. The aromatic additive includes an electron withdrawing group and an electron donating group. A content ratio of the aromatic additive contained in the liquid component is more than or equal to 50 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the conductive polymer.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, a liquid component, an outer case, and a sealing body. The capacitor element includes an anode body having a dielectric layer, and a solid electrolyte layer in contact with the dielectric layer. The liquid component is in contact with the solid electrolyte layer. The outer case houses the capacitor element and the liquid component. The sealing body seals an opening of the outer case. The liquid component contains a first component, which is an aliphatic polyol compound having two or more hydroxy groups per molecule. The aliphatic polyol compound includes at least one of a compound having a C3 carbon chain in a main chain and a compound having no C3 carbon chain but having one to four ether oxygen atoms in a main chain. The sealing body includes a polymer having no double bond in a main chain.
