A hollow fiber membrane module in which a housing body forming the hollow fiber membrane module includes an insertion opening into which end parts of the plurality of hollow fiber membranes are inserted so as to be fixed and held, and an opening portion which exposes open end surfaces of a plurality of hollow fiber membranes inserted from the insertion opening to outside, and a cover that blocks the opening portion of the housing body. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a housing enabling open end surfaces of hollow fiber membranes to be sealed by easily exposing the open end surfaces of the hollow fiber membranes when the hollow fiber membranes are damaged.

In a hollow fiber membrane flat module according to the present invention, both ends of hollow fiber membrane bundle which are formed by bundling a plurality of hollow fiber membrane as a sheet are fixed to two housing separately by a fixing resin while maintaining an opening condition in an opening end section in the follow fiber membrane. Furthermore, a maximum width in an orthogonal direction to a longitudinal direction of the hollow fiber membrane is no longer than 25 mm in a cross section which is orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the housings, and a maximum deflection in the housings which are measured according to a method for measuring the deflection according to the present invention is not more than 1% of a distance between the two housings. In such a hollow fiber membrane module, it is possible to enhance the integration ratio of the hollow fiber membrane module per a unit volume of the hollow fiber membrane module unit in which there is less deflections in the housing caused by adjust the wavelength dispersion and the dispersion slope always in minimum level automatically only by matching the position of the reflecting mirror 8, the dispersion compensation amount and the dispersion slope compensation amount which correspond to a shape of the reflecting surface 8a on the reflecting mirror 8 which is selected under such a current condition in advance. Factors such as an air bubble, and the entanglement of the hollow fiber membranes is restricted; thus, a hollow fiber membrane is not damaged. Also, in the hollow fiber membrane module, it is preferable that the housing is provided with a reinforcing rib section which strengthens the housing.

A seat apparatus include: a shaft rotated by a motor and operatively associated with the seat so as to move the seat; a first leg secured to the shaft and pivotably supported by the seat; a first spring, one end of which is fixedly attached to the shaft and an other end of which is fixedly attached to the seat; the first spring which biases the shift in a first direction; and a second spring, one end of which is fixedly attached to the shaft and an other end of which is fixedly attached to the seat, the second spring which biases the shaft in a second direction. The first direction opposes to the second direction.

The present invention is a designing method for designing an access communication network with a computer, the method including the steps of (a) reading a design file and inputting an existing facility information and a various parameter information, (b) designating and/or canceling a fixed mode to and from the existing facility information, (c) editing and inputting a temporarily fixed mode to an additional facility that has not been designed the fixed mode, (d) assigning a demand to facilities that have been designated the fixed mode or the temporarily fixed mode and calculating the structure of the access communication network and the positions of facilities thereof at low deployment costs that satisfy limited conditions of the various parameter information that has been input at the step (a), and (e) storing the structure of the calculated access communication network and the positions of facilities thereof to the design file.

A membrane separator assembly for separating solids from water includes opposing enclosure wall structures, a membrane module unit, and a gas diffuser disposed below the membrane module unit. The membrane module unit includes a plurality of membrane modules respectively having at least one separating membrane extending between at least two membrane fixing members. At least one of the membrane fixing members has a main passage which is in fluid communication with a membrane passageway. The membrane passageway is accessible to water via permeation through the separating membranes and is inaccessible to solids which are impermeable relative to the separating membranes. The membrane separator assembly is preferably used with a detergent containing percarbonate, preferably sodium percarbonate. The assembly also includes a gas diffuser with two opposing main pipes and branch pipes extending therebetween to avoid undesired pressure differentials when cleaning the assembly.

An access communication network to make possible automatic designing a lower cost access communication network under various constraints by using existing equipment on the basis of demand information is to be provided. The equipment is classified into communication equipment and civil-engineered equipment; information is given, before automatic designing, as to whether each item of equipment is to be deleted or its position is fixed to use its unoccupied capacity; and allows the designer to freely define an eligible deployment site for the equipment and thereby to calculate the configuration of a low deployment cost access communication network and civil-engineered equipment needed therefor. First, equipment information is read in (21), parameters including the number of current additional demands, the cost of each equipment item and the design policy are defined (22), the communication/civil-engineered equipment items are edited if necessary (24), designation is given for each equipment item whether or not to use it in automatic designing by an addition formula (24), and a low deployment cost access communication network is calculated by fixing the positions of those items of equipment for which the addition designing mode is designated and using them as being free of additional equipment cost.
