    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses example communication methods, apparatuses, and mediums. One example method includes selecting a target side identifier corresponding to a communication type by a media access control (MAC) entity of a first terminal device, where the communication type includes unicast communication, multicast communication, or broadcast communication, and the target side identifier includes a destination layer 2 identifier or a destination layer 1 identifier. A first sidelink logical channel (LCH) is obtained by the MAC entity of the first terminal device, where the first sidelink LCH is an LCH having a highest priority among LCHs that correspond to the target side identifier and the communication type and that have data. A transmission resource to data on the first sidelink LCH is allocated by the MAC entity of the first terminal device.

    Abstract: This specification discloses a relay communication method and an apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies, to ensure security in a relay user equipment (relay UE) discovery process. The method includes: Second user equipment broadcasts a layer 2 (L2) identifier, and first user equipment receives the L2 identifier of the second user equipment, and reports the L2 identifier of the second user equipment and signal quality of the second user equipment to a first access network device. Alternatively, a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) of second user equipment is sent to first user equipment through a unicast connection.     Abstract: This application discloses a sidelink (SL) communication method and an apparatus. In this application, the second terminal receives first control information and first data from the first terminal, where a cast type indicated by the first control information is SL groupcast transmission with negative acknowledgement (NACK) only feedback. The second terminal starts a first timer at a specified location after a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback resource corresponding to the first data, where duration of the first timer indicates minimum duration that elapses before SL resource scheduling information used for HARQ retransmission is expected to be received. After the first timer expires, if the second terminal successfully decodes the first data and detects a NACK on the HARQ feedback resource, the second terminal starts a second timerwith duration indicating maximum duration that elapses before the SL resource scheduling information used for HARQ retransmission is received.

    Abstract: This application discloses a communication system including a master base station and a secondary base station, both connecting with a terminal. In the communication system, the master base station sends a first message to the secondary base station for allocating transmission resources for one or more flows to be transmitted between the secondary base station and a terminal, wherein the first message carries one or both of: identification information of each flow to be transmitted, and information of a data radio bearer (DRB) associated with each flow to be transmitted, then the secondary base station may determine a mapping relationship between a DRB and an admitted flow according to the first message. Moreover, the master base station sends DRB configuration information to the terminal. Therefore, requirements of 5G communication systems for QoS management of information transmission in a dual connectivity scenario can be met.
