    摘要: A vehicle, hitch, and articulating trailer include vehicle to vehicle and infrastructure communications and vehicle computing systems, which have a controller coupled to and/or including one or more of a dynamics measurement unit, a transceiver, and a position sensor, among other components. The controller(s) are configured to, in response to detecting positions of trailer corners from the position sensor, generate vehicle and trailer relative orientation and navigation data including location, velocity, and orientation, utilizing vehicle and trailer electronic polyhedrons articulating about a hitch point and representing the combination vehicle and trailer predicted path and envelopes. In response to detected trailer movement relative to the hitch point, the generated articulated polyhedrons are generated with the navigation data, which includes the location, speed, and orientation, which are in turn communicated to nearby vehicles and roadway infrastructure. Initial trailer vertices may be generated with wireless and mobile devices to generate the trailer polyhedron.

A method may include receiving, by a computing device, geographic information of a destination and geographic information of a current location of a vehicle and evaluating feasibility of a U-turn along a path between the current location and the destination using the geographic information. The computing device may further calculate a U-turn cost parameter associated with the U-turn representative of the feasibility, and determine a feasible route between the current location and the destination based on the U-turn cost parameter using a routing algorithm.

    摘要: A seat assembly includes a seat portion and a seatback. A cushioned component is disposed in either the seat portion or the seatback. The cushioned component includes a porous lattice matrix and non-porous first and second walls that are disposed within and surrounded by the lattice matrix. The first and second walls are spaced-apart from one another and disposed at opposed angles to define a channel therebetween. The lattice matrix and the first and second walls are deformable structures for supporting a seat occupant while still being able to channel air through the cushioned component. The lattice matrix and the first and second walls are contemplated to be integrally formed components defining a monolithic structure. The lattice matrix may include multiple sets of spaced-apart walls for channeling air through different portions of the cushioned component.
