Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for prioritizing communications relating to a meeting. One or more unread or unanswered communications received by a user are analyzed with respect to a plurality of calendar events of the user. One or more high-priority communications in the one or more unread or unanswered communications are identified that relate to a particular calendar event of the plurality of calendar events, based on relevance and urgency with respect to the particular calendar event. Instructions are transmitted to a user device of the user to cause the user device to present an alert to the user regarding the one or more high-priority communications.

Abstract: Methods are provided for a collaborative, decentralized insight engineering based on exchanging telemetry vectors with peer network devices. Each network device independently detects a deviation in its functioning using machine learning of generated feature vectors. Specifically, the methods involve obtaining, from at least one peer network device, at least a first feature vector that represents at least one insight generated from telemetry data of a respective peer network device. The intermediate network device and the at least one peer network device are configured to forward packets of a traffic flow. The methods further involve determining whether a deviation related to one or more of the network devices, exists based at least on the first feature vector and performing the at least one predefined action based on determining that the deviation exists.

Abstract: A virtual collaboration system provides communication between a plurality of participants via a collaboration session that includes a corresponding plurality of participant devices. The collaboration session facilitates communication between the participant devices via a plurality of communication channels over which the participants communicate. For example, in some embodiments, the channels include one or more of a video channel, audio channel, or document sharing channel. A participant designates in which of the plurality of channels they will participate, and the designations are communicated to other participants. This provides a broader understanding of each participant's circumstances and ability to engage across the different channels with the plurality of participants.

Abstract: A notification is provided to participants in a collaboration session when another participant is possibly experiencing a disruptive event. Information sources, such as network web services maintained by governments, public utilities, or media organizations are queried to determine when a potentially disruptive event is occurring and an affected location. Locations of participants are then compared to locations of any disruptive events. If it is determined that a participant may be experiencing a disruption, the other participants are notified of the disruption.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for diagnosing a presence or malfunction of a network node. In an example method, a first network node receives an indication of a diagnostic transmission originating from a second network node. The second network node further receives a forwarded transmission corresponding to the diagnostic transmission. The first network node diagnoses at least one of a presence or a malfunction of an intermediary node between the first network node and the second network node based on at least one of the indications of the diagnostic transmission or the forwarded transmission.

MONITORING COMMUNICATIONS TO IDENTIFY PERFORMANCE DEGRADATION

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for monitoring communications in an application cloud infrastructure. The techniques may include determining whether a performance issue associated with the communications is related to an application server for a hosted application, or to a computing network that transmits the communications across the application cloud infrastructure. The techniques may also further include testing to define a performance issue, and/or taking action in response to a performance issue, including potentially mitigating the performance issue. As such, monitoring communications may help improve network performance by efficiently identifying and isolating instances of potential performance degradation.
