Abstract: A method for improving image display quality, including: dividing a total gray scale range of a gamma voltage curve of a display apparatus to obtain gray scale ranges; obtaining data of gray scales of frame(s) of image to be displayed by the display apparatus, and calculating a ratio of data of gray scales in each gray scale range; adjusting a division value of a gamma voltage range corresponding to each gray scale range of the gamma voltage curve according to calculated ratios, so that a division value of a gamma voltage range corresponding to a gray scale range with a maximum ratio is less than a division value of a gamma voltage range corresponding to any remaining gray scale range; and outputting gamma voltages corresponding to the data of gray scales of the frame(s) of image to be displayed according to the adjusted gamma voltage curve.

Abstract: The present application discloses a method for compensating data voltages in a display apparatus. The method for individually compensating a data voltage to be applied to one of the multiple pixel circuits in the display apparatus. The method includes obtaining a threshold voltage of the driving transistor in the one of the multiple pixel circuits. Additionally, the method includes applying a testing voltage to a gate electrode of the driving transistor for charging the sense line up to a first time period to determine a first monitoring voltage associated with the sense line. The testing voltage is set to be a sum of the threshold voltage and a first setting voltage. Moreover, the method includes compensating a data voltage to be applied to the one of the multiple pixel circuits based on the first monitoring voltage and the threshold voltage.

Abstract: A compensation method for a display panel, a compensation device for a display panel, and a display apparatus are provided. The display panel includes a plurality of pixel units, and each pixel unit includes a pixel circuit and a light-emitting element. The compensation method includes: detecting a threshold voltage of a drive transistor in the pixel circuit; detecting a maximum data voltage corresponding to a maximum brightness of the light-emitting element; and based on the threshold voltage, the maximum data voltage and an expected display brightness, calculating a compensation display data voltage in a normal display state after the display panel is compensated.
