    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for indicating transmit power control information to a user equipment (UE) for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmissions in short transmission time intervals (TTIs) from the UE, and for configuring reference signal transmissions in SPS transmissions of short TTIs. A UE may be configured with uplink power control information for SPS transmissions that use sTTIs that is separate from uplink power control for longer TTIs. A UE may receive the power control information and apply it in SPS transmissions that use sTTIs. Uplink transmit power for SPS sTTI transmissions may be independent of power control for regular sTTI transmissions and independent of power control for long TTI transmissions. UEs may apply a cyclic shift to reference signals transmitted is SPS transmissions according to a SPS configuration, rather than a cyclic shift indicated in a SPS activation command.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a response message associated with a random access message, wherein the response message includes an identifier of the UE; select a format of an uplink channel or an uplink signal for acknowledging successful decoding of the response message; determine a transmit power for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgment (ACK) information based at least in part on at least one of: a message type of the response message, a mode of random access associated with the random access message, a power control configuration used by a previous transmission of the random access message, or the format of the uplink channel or the uplink signal; and transmit the HARQ ACK information using a power control procedure based at least in part on the transmit power.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, a method for wireless communications at a wireless device may include determining a rate matching configuration for a first channel (e.g., an uplink channel) associated with a second channel (e.g., a downlink channel). A wireless device may determine rate matching resources of an uplink channel based on the rate matching configuration. The wireless device may determine rate matching resources of a downlink channel based on the rate matching configuration. The wireless device may transmit a first message on the uplink channel or the downlink channel, respectively, where the transmitted channel includes the rate matching resources. The wireless device may receive a reference signal on one or more resources of the downlink channel or the uplink channel, respectively, where the one or more resources of the respective channel correspond to the rate matching resources on the transmitted channel.
