    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may receive an indication of one or more parameters for communications over a sidelink channel during a first time period, where the one or more parameters may include a time threshold for a second resource pool. The wireless device may transmit data over a first resource pool of the sidelink channel during a first portion of the first time period based on the one or more parameters, the first resource pool including resources for communications between the first wireless device and a second wireless device. The wireless device may monitor the second resource pool during a second portion of the first time period for the time threshold, the second resource pool including resources for communications between the first wireless device and a third wireless device.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) in a wireless communications system, such as a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications systems, may communicate over sidelink to other UEs. The first UE may receive, from a base station, control signaling indicating a sidelink resource pool allocated for sidelink communication between the first UE and a second UE. The first UE may transmit an indication that superposition coding may be used to generate a concurrent sidelink and uplink transmission. The first UE may then transmit the concurrent sidelink and uplink transmission within a resource of the sidelink resource pool based on the indication. The second UE may decode the sidelink portion of the transmission, and the base station may decode the uplink portion of the transmission.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating that a base station supports allocating resources for sidelink communications using a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT that is different from the first RAT. The UE may transmit a sidelink information message to the base station using the first RAT that indicates that sidelink communications are to be performed using either the second RAT or both the first RAT and the second RAT. The UE may receive a configuration message from the base station that comprises an identifier for the sidelink communications and an indication of available sidelink resources. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the configuration message, a request for resources within the available sidelink resources, the request indicating the identifier and a buffer status report (BSR).

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for half-duplex handling with system-wide feedback resources. Embodiments include determining, for a first feedback resource corresponding to a first time period, that the wireless node has a scheduled feedback transmission and a scheduled feedback reception on shared frequency resources. Embodiments include selecting one of the scheduled feedback transmission or the scheduled feedback reception based on a rule. Embodiments include using the feedback resource to perform the selected one of the scheduled feedback transmission or the scheduled feedback reception.

A UE may identify a plurality of shortened transmission time intervals (TTIs) to be used for priority communications to or from a vehicle having a first traffic priority level, the plurality of shortened TTIs each having a duration that is less than that of other TTIs used in other communications to or from the vehicle having a second traffic priority level which is less than the first traffic priority level. The UE may perform a listen-before-talk procedure in order to reserve the plurality of shortened TTIs for the priority communications. The UE may further reserving at least one instance of the plurality of shortened TTIs for the priority communication. The further reserving may include transmitting a request to reserve the at least one instance of the plurality of shortened TTIs for the priority communication or performing a request-to-send/clear-to-send exchange.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may select a first and second directional beam for communicating with one or more UEs on a first and second sidelink communication link. In some cases, the UE may identify a first sidelink feedback configuration for the first directional beam. The UE may also identify a second sidelink feedback configuration for the second directional beam, where the second sidelink configuration may be different from the first sidelink feedback configuration. In some examples, the UE may transmit an indication of the first sidelink feedback configuration and the second sidelink feedback configuration to the one or more UEs, where received feedback for sidelink messages sent over the directional beams may be based on the different sidelink feedback configurations. In addition, feedback resources may be based on a beam identifier of a beam used to transmit an initial sidelink message.
