Abstract:
An electric motor operating on the reluctance principle employs spaced rotor discs presenting rings of inwardly fcing poles of alternating polarity, typically by means of permanent magnets, and an annular stator between the discs consisting of a ring of H shaped cores, with the stems of the H's extending peripherally. Two sets of windings on these cores are energized alternately so as to provide alternating polarization of pole pieces presented by the cores to the rotor discs, with a timing such as to produce continuous rotation at a controlled rate, of the discs as their magnets seek a minimum reluctance position.
Abstract:
The motor structure is as follows:the rotor (1) has N magnetization axes parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor, the adjacent poles having opposite polarities;the stator (2) forms m phases (r, s), m=N/2n, for n being an integer;every phase (r, s) comprises a pair of coplanar polar pieces (3, 4) interpositioned, the one (3) in the other one (4),the polar pieces (3, 4) comprise full poles (p.sub.1 to p.sub.4 and p.sub.6 to p.sub.8) and fractional poles (p.sub.5, p.sub.9);the phases (r, s) are displaced with respect to one another;the polar pieces (3, 4) of every phase (r, s) are magnetically connected with one another by a coiled core (7).

A numerical display device having electrically energizable coil means mounted on a central winding form means for selectively providing a magnetic field selectively oriented in each of a plurality of discrete alignments in the region adjacent the coil means. A freely rotatable permanent magnet coupled with a symbol carrying means is positioned adjacent the coil means in said magnetic field for selectively assuming a corresponding plurality of discretely oriented alignments. A plurality of spaced symbols are positioned on an outer face of said symbol carrying means for selective positioning at a predetermined location in response to selected ones of said discrete alignments of said magnetic field.
Abstract:
A selectively reversible step motor. Two field pole pieces, each having a plurality of circumferentially arranged salient field pole tips, are positioned on respective opposite sides of a toroidal field coil with the salient field pole tips being interleaved and extending in the same direction substantially parallel to the axis of and beyond an edge of the field coil to define a cylinder-like recess. A disk type rotor, having a series of premagnetized alternate polarity magnetic rotor poles about the periphery thereof, is mounted for rotation within the cylinder-like recess and an auxiliary direction of rotation selecting pole piece, having a plurality of circumferentially arranged salient pole tips equal in number to the total of salient field pole tips, is mounted for rotation about the axis of the rotor with the salient pole pieces thereof interleaved between adjacent salient field pole tips of the field pole pieces for selectively determining the direction of rotor rotation.
Abstract:
A stepping dimming motor structure is provided, including a shell, and further including: a winding frame, which is provided with a coil, wherein a wiring block is arranged on a side circumferential wall of the winding frame; two wiring slots are arranged on the wiring block; each wiring slot corresponds to a wiring tab; a magnetically-conductive ring frame. The above scheme generates a magnetic field by powering up the coil to excite the magnetically-conductive ring frame, thus driving the rotor assembly to rotate; the rotor assembly then drives the push rod to move axially, adjusting headlights; and meanwhile, a fastening effect on lead wire ends of the coil and electrical connection between the lead wire ends of the coil and the wiring tabs are achieved through plugging fit between the wiring tabs and the wiring slots, thereby ensuring the structural reliability and improving the assembling efficiency.
