The elongated lever arm is coupled to the mechano-caloric stage proximate a first end portion of the elongated lever arm and to the cam proximate a second end portion of the elongated lever arm such that the motor is operable to stress the mechano-caloric stage via pivoting of the elongated lever arm as the cam rotates.

    摘要: A vacuum adiabatic body includes: a first plate member defining at least one portion of a wall for a first space; a second plate member defining at least one portion of a wall for a second space having a different temperature from the first space; a sealing part sealing the first plate member and the second plate member to provide a third space that has a temperature between the temperature of the first space and the temperature of the second space and is in a vacuum state; a supporting unit maintaining the third space; a heat resistance unit for decreasing a heat transfer amount between the first plate member and the second plate member; an exhaust port through which a gas in the third space is exhausted; a side frame provided at an edge portion of the third space, the side frame having at least one portion defining a wall for the third space; and a peripheral frame fixed to the side frame to have a part mounted thereto. Accordingly, each part of the vacuum adiabatic body can be mounted without any interference, and an adiabatic effect can be improved.

    摘要: A cooling system, an apparatus for producing hyperpolarized samples, where the apparatus includes the cooling system, and a method for assembling and using the cooling system are disclosed. The cooling system includes a cryogenic chamber, a cooling plate, a sample sleeve, a thermal switch, and an interposer. Also, the cryogenic chamber includes a cryogenic fluid and the cooling plate is disposed in the cryogenic chamber, in contact with the cryogenic fluid. Further, the sample sleeve is configured to receive a sample. The sample sleeve is at least partially inserted in the cryogenic chamber. The thermal switch is disposed between the cooling plate and the sample sleeve. Moreover, the interposer is disposed between at least one of (i) the thermal switch and the cooling plate and (ii) the thermal switch and the sample sleeve. The interposer includes a gallium indium tin alloy.
