摘要: A high pressure threshold detection circuit (100) is provided. The high pressure threshold detection circuit includes a pressure transducer (110) for measuring a pressure of a medium at an outlet (104) of a compressor (102). The high pressure threshold detection circuit (100) includes a controller (120). The controller (120) includes a comparator (123) and a switch (125). The comparator (123) and the switch (125) are electrically coupled. The switch (125) is electrically coupled to an enable circuit (131). The pressure transducer (110) is electrically coupled to the comparator (123) to provide a signal to the comparator (123) based on the pressure measured at the outlet (104). The comparator (123) outputs a control signal (111) to the switch (125) when the signal (111) is equal to or greater than a reference value (126). The switch (125) opens the enable circuit (131) to disable compression of the medium by the compressor (102) in response to the control signal (111).

摘要: Aspects are provided for positive displacement pumps and methods and systems for controlling such positive displacement pumps for accurate volume dispensing. The pump may run a calibration procedure to determine a mapping between a pump speed and a flow rate for a current configuration of the positive displacement pump, a tubing size, and a fluid characteristic. A pump controller may determine a pump motion profile based on the mapping. The pump motion profile includes an acceleration phase, a constant speed phase, and a deceleration phase such that a total volume pumped according to the pump motion profile and the mapping is equal to a target volume. The pump controller may determine an adjustment to the pump motion profile based on a constant flow rate measured during operation. The pump controller may decelerate the positive displacement pump according to the adjusted pump motion profile until the target volume is dispensed.

The inverter (10) is configured to drive the electric motor (7) at a preset target operating point (TO) with a rotation speed higher than a rotation speed corresponding to a power frequency of a commercial power source.

摘要: A self-regulating fire pump unit which can be controlled to operate under required conditions for sourcing a fire protection system such as sprinklers. The fire pump unit can be operated in accordance with a control curve based on detected pressure and flow. The control curve can include: a) a first setpoint of rated total value of the system load for the pressure and the flow, b) a second setpoint of a minimum partial percentage of the rated total value of the pressure at an over-percentage of the rated total value of the flow, c) a path which maintains the rated total value of the pressure for all values of the flow up to the first setpoint, d) a path between the first setpoint and the second setpoint, e) a path from the second setpoint which limits values of the pressure for values of the flow greater than the second setpoint.

摘要: A peristaltic pump includes a plunger-cam follower, a tube receiver, a spring-biased plunger, a spring, a position sensor, and a processor. The plunger-cam follower engages the plunger cam to follow the plunger cam and to disengage from the plunger cam. The spring-biased plunger is coupled to the plunger-cam follower and the spring biases the spring-biased plunger toward the tube receiver. The position sensor determines a position of the spring-biased plunger when the plunger-cam follower is disengaged from the plunger came. The processor estimates fluid flow utilizing at least the position of the spring-biased plunger as indicated by the position sensor when the plunger-cam follower is disengaged from the plunger cam and the spring biases the spring-biased plunger against the tube.

摘要: An electrical submersible well pump assembly has a SAW (surface acoustic wave) sensor on a motor shaft. A SAW electronic circuit mounts to the motor housing. The SAW electronic circuit has an antenna closely spaced to the SAW sensor for monitoring torque on the motor shaft. A controller at an upper end of the well supplies power to the motor. A motor gauge unit mounted to a lower end of the motor transmits signals to the controller. A signal line extends from the SAW electronic circuit to the motor gauge unit for transmitting signals from the SAW electronic circuit to the motor gauge unit, and from the motor gauge unit to the controller.
