    摘要: A relatively movable piston and cylinder are joined by an elastic sealing element which engages the piston and cylinder at spaced locations and at least partially defines a working chamber. The sealing element bears against a bearing surface via a lubricant space, and means are provided for feeding lubricant between the bearing surface and the sealing element. Part of the bearing surface comprises a transition surface section extending oblique to the axis of the cylinder. The lubricant feed mouth opens to the bearing surface at a predetermined location relative to the transition surface section of the bearing surface.

    摘要: A reversible fluid unit which may be used as a motor, pump, brake or clutch. The unit has a plurality of sequentially inflatable diaphragms, to impart a rotative force to a plurality of roller members. When used as a motor, brake or clutch, air under pressure is sequentially fed to the plurality of diaphragms which inflate against roller members connected to a driven output shaft. As the diaphragms inflate, the roller members are contacted by the inflated diaphragms to impart or brake rotary motion thereto. When used as a pump, the rollers are rotated to pump air out through the diaphragm members.

    摘要: Pneumatic boosters basically comprise a casing and at least one movable wall disposed therein dividing the casing into two chambers. The differential of pressure between a low pressure in one of the two chambers and atmospheric pressure in the other of the two chambers provides the boosting effect. The diaphragm plate of the movable wall is normally made of relatively heavy sheet steel. According to the present invention a weight reduction and a saving of material is accomplished by providing openings in at least that portion of the diaphragm plate that extends substantially radially from the axis of the booster.

A cam shaft is rotatably mounted within the convex area defined by each C-shaped member which operably engages a pivotably mounted deflector panel which deflects a free end of the C-shaped member to change the volume of the hollow interior which forces fluid through the inlet into the passageway. The deflector member also is movable to disengage from the C-shaped member to decrease the volume of the hollow interior and force fluid through the outlet from the passageway.

An air passage is formed to release any air present in a space between the diaphragm and the disc portion of the power piston.
