Abstract: A detecting circuit of an external display device includes a first connector, a display circuit configured to provide a display signal to the external display device through the first connector, a switch circuit, a power supply circuit configured to provide power needed for operating the display circuit through the switch circuit when the switch circuit is on, and a control circuit configured to turn on the switch circuit upon detecting the external display device so as to connect the power supply circuit to the display circuit. When the switch circuit is on, the control circuit accumulates a duration or a number of times of detection that the external display device is continually not detected, and then turns off the switch circuit to disconnect the power circuit from the display circuit when the duration reaches a time threshold or the number of times of detection reaches a count threshold.

Abstract: An indicator light, an electrical converter plug, a positioning bracket, and an electrical converter plug assembly. The indicator light for indicating a working status of the electrical device includes a light guide rod having opposite first and second ends, and a light shade, disposed at the first end of the light guide rod and including multiple indicating surfaces facing different directions. When the indicator light is installed on the electrical device, the second end of the light guide rod faces a light source inside the electrical device, and light from the light source is guided by the light guide rod to the light shade and emitted in the multiple directions by the light shade, allowing the user to observe the light from multiple angles. Further, a positioning bracket affixes the electrical converter plug to the power outlet socket, ensuring secure contact, prolonging product life, and eliminating safety threat.

Abstract: An adaptor for electric vehicle charging connectors allows an EV to be shifted from park even though the charging connector is still connected to the charging port. As a result, a driver needs not leave the EV to unplug the charging connector. The adapter can include an inner portion housing inner charging pin portions and inner communication pin portions and an outer portion housing outer charging pin portions and outer communication pin portions. The adapter can also include a switching mechanism for selectively forming a connection between one of the outer communication pin portions and one of the inner communication pin portions. The outer charging pin portions and outer communication pin portions can be configured to separate from the inner charging pin portions and inner communication pin portions respectively when the outer portion of the adapter is separated from the inner portion of the adapter.

Abstract: A plug connector assembly comprises a plug connector having an elastic locking structure for locking to a socket connector. The elastic locking structure is movable between a locking position engaged with the socket connector, and an unlocking position separated from the socket connector. An adapter of the assembly includes a pressing structure and a pull stop structure. The plug connector is received within the adapter for mating with the socket connector slidably inserted into the adapter. When the plug connector is received within the adapter, the pressing structure presses and holds the elastic locking structure in the unlocking position, and the pull stop structure abuts the elastic locking structure for preventing the plug connector from being pulled out of the adapter.

Abstract: A system to couple a controller to a roadside aerial lighting fixture includes a primary male connector integrated with the controller and a primary female connector integrated with the roadside aerial lighting fixture. The primary male and female connectors are compliant with a roadway area lighting standard promoted by a standards body. The primary male connector protrudes from a first substantially planar surface of the controller. The primary female connector is recessed within a second substantially planar surface of the roadside aerial lighting fixture. A controller-side data connector protrudes from the first substantially planar surface or a third surface substantially parallel to the first substantially planar surface. A fixture-side data connector is recessed within the second substantially planar surface or recessed within a fourth surface substantially parallel to the second substantially planar surface. When the controller is rotatably coupled to the roadside aerial lighting fixture, the primary male connector is electrically coupled to the primary female connector, and the controller-side data connector is communicatively coupled to the fixture-side data connector.
