摘要: The invention relates to a coated granular fertilizer, preferably wherein granules are sulfate-based or phosphate-based. When sulfate-based granules, as in ammonium sulfate, the coating substance is an inorganic salt of alkaline earth elements, preferably calcium, such that when applied to the surface of fertilizers, forms calcium sulfate, preferably a calcium sulfate-dihydrate, as a protective coating. For a reactive coating of a thiosulfate, free sulfuric acid present on the granule reacts to provide an elemental sulfur coating. For ammonium phosphate-based granules, coatings may comprise compounds of Ca++, Al+++ and/or Fe+++ salts thereby forming a calcium, an aluminum, an iron, or mixed cation phosphate protective coating. Thiosulfate is also effective with phosphate-based granules which arc manufactured with sulfuric acid. Granules coated according to the disclosure have advantageous properties as the coating can be applied in a specified and sparing manner due to its tendency to adhere to surfaces during the reaction. Coated fertilizer granules of the disclosure are also advantageous in that, with regard to the applied amount of coating, they provide increased resistance to dusting in long term warehouse storage, to moisture uptake and to oxidative heating. Coating components also add nutrients to plants that can provide nutrients over a longer period of time such as a slow-release characteristic.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method of increasing the concentration of K2O in an aqueous solution. The method comprises reacting potassium sulfate with an acidic compound to yield a product that includes potassium hydrogen sulfate. The product can be used to supplement crops in need of potassium. The product can also have other nutrients added to it, depending on the desired end use. Advantageously, these products increase yield as compared to prior art products.

摘要: An agricultural spray may be produced by admixing citric acid and glutamic acid with a metal salt and a pesticide or other agricultural chemical containing components capable of precipitating with the metal salt in the admixture. The citric acid and the glutamic acid chelate with the metal salt to provide a stability and compatibility-enhancing composition, thereby preventing the metal salt from forming an insoluble solid within the admixture. Such a composition may be produced by admixing citric acid and glutamic acid at a molar ratio of about 6.8:0.5 to about 1:0.29. The composition may include a metal sat, citric acid and glutamic acid in a molar ratio of about 1:6.8:0.5 to about 1:1:0.29 and a pesticide.

摘要: The invention provides for methods, devices, and systems for pyrolyzing biomass. A pyrolysis unit can be used for the pyrolysis of biomass to form gas, liquid, and solid products. The biomass materials can be selected such that an enhanced biochar is formed after pyrolysis. The biomass can be pyrolyzed under specified conditions such that a selected biochar core is formed. The pyrolysis process can form a stable biochar core that is inert and/or resistant to degradation. The biochar or biochar core can be functionalized to form a functionalized biochar or functionalized biochar core. Functionalization can include post-pyrolysis treatments such as supplementation with microbes or physical transformations including annealing and/or activation.

摘要: The present disclosure, in various embodiments, discloses hydrothermal methods, hydrothermally modified materials and dried hydrothermally modified materials. Certain dried hydrothermally modified materials can readily releases ionic species such as alkali metal ions (K+, Na+), silicate salts, and alkaline earth metal ions (Mg2+, Ca2+). Some dried hydrothermally modified materials can readily release aluminum ions and/or silicon, such as in the form of soluble silicates. Such processes and materials are useful, for example in economically preparing potassium releasing fertilizers.

摘要: A selenium-rich enhancer for plant cultivation and preparation and application thereof. The selenium-rich enhancer contains: an organic selenocyano-compound. The organic selenocyano-compound is selected from one or a combination of the compounds of the structure of Formula I or Formula II, Formula I: R—SeCN, wherein, R is alkyl or aromatic groups; and Formula II: (R—SeCN)nA, wherein, R is alkyl or aromatic groups, n is an integer of 1-5, and A is a cation. The selenium-rich enhancer is employed to cultivate plants by utilizing the organic selenocyano-compound, and the survival rates, yields and organic selenium contents of plants are all improved. When pepper is planted by using that, the selenium content can reach more than 180 μg/kg.

摘要: A ferrous modified selenium sol for inhibiting accumulation of cadmium and arsenic in rice and the preparation method and application thereof are disclosed. The method includes: dissolving an iron-containing compound and a selenium-containing compound into water; adding a reductant to the solution, and stirring until no more precipitation is generated, then adding carbonate, continuing to stir until no more precipitation is generated, and then filtering, taking the precipitation, and washing to obtain the precipitation of the selenium element and ferrous carbonate; adding an emulsifier to a citric acid buffer solution to obtain an emulsified citric acid buffer solution; adding the precipitation of the selenium element and ferrous carbonate to the emulsified citric acid buffer solution to obtain a sol system; and evaporating to concentrate the sol system, and adjusting the pH to 4.5-8.5 to obtain a ferrous modified selenium sol for inhibiting the accumulation of cadmium and arsenic in rice.
