    摘要: A pulsed electrochemical machining (pECM) system including a pECM assembly. The pECM assembly includes a tool body which defines a tool axis and includes an electrode which includes an electrically conductive material and defines working surface. The pECM system includes an electrolyte system configured to supply electrolyte to an interelectrode gap, and the electrolyte system includes a vacuum system. The tool body defines a working surface configured to face a workpiece, and the working surface defines a plurality of apertures configured to fluidically couple to an electrolyte system. The tool body includes a manifold block defining at least one electrolyte inlet and at least one electrolyte outlet, a baffle element, and the electrode. The tool body is configured to receive electrolyte from an electrolyte system at the electrolyte inlet in the manifold block and feed electrolyte through the baffle element to the working surface of the electrode.

In the jetting step, at least one of a current density distribution on the tip surface of the processing electrode or a flow velocity distribution of the electrolytic solution jetted from the outlet opening is eccentric to a downstream side of a curving direction of the processing hole with respect to an axial center of the tip surface.

    摘要: An electrochemical machining apparatus for forming turbine blades includes a main base, an upper seat and an electrode unit. The main base includes a working platform for allowing a turbine blade to be placed thereon. The working platform includes an upper step stage for resisting the turbine blade, and a lower step stage for keeping a predetermined working space from a portion of the turbine blade desired to be cut. The main base has a guiding channel for allowing an electrolyte to flow through the predetermined working space. The upper seat is configured to cover above the main base and to contact one side of the turbine blade to form an electrical connection. The electrode unit includes an anode electrode electrically connected to the upper seat and at least one cathode electrode disposed on the main base.

    摘要: A method for removing material from a component that is connected as an anode is disclosed. In an embodiment, an electrode that is connected as a cathode is guided to the component such that a gap is formed, an electrolyte is introduced into the gap, and a closed system is formed for the electrolyte by the formation of a duct. The electrolyte is continuously guided from an inlet opening to an outlet opening of the duct. Forming the duct, e.g., by guide elements that are mounted on the electrode, ensures that only those surface parts of the component to be machined from which material is to be removed enter in contact with the electrolyte while the other surface parts do not enter in contact with the electrolyte. Since the electrolyte is continuously guided across the surface, used electrolyte is continuously discharged along with residual matter while fresh electrolyte is delivered.

    摘要: A method for processing a constructed, liquid-cooled piston of an internal combustion engine, the piston including an upper piston part and a lower piston part, which are supported by a joining plane and are connected to each other in a bonded manner. An electrochemical method, such as electrochemical machining, is used to produce a passage opening or a hole in the piston. By means of the method, material is selectively removed after the completion of the upper part piston, the lower piston part, or the piston after the two piston parts have been joined. The electrochemical machining allows an arbitrarily geometrically designed topography having at least one passage opening, a hollow, or an oil pocket in cooling areas or non-cooling areas to be created on the piston.
