摘要： System and methods for providing a keyframe module for a input device are disclosed. In an embodiment, the input device includes a keyframe having a key opening, and a key disposed within the key opening. The key includes a keycap having a bottom surface, a plurality of tabs that extend laterally from the bottom surface of the keycap, and a protrusion extending from the bottom surface of the keycap. A compressible dome structure is disposed underneath the protrusion, and a plate is coupled to the keyframe and disposed underneath the compressible dome structure. A plurality of openings is disposed within the plate, where a location of the plurality of openings corresponds to a location of the plurality of tabs such that one or more of the plurality of tabs pass through one or more of the plurality of openings in response to the depression of the key.

摘要： A case keyboard with thin film switches is provided. The case keyboard includes a case, a tablet PC fixing frame and a keyboard main body. The tablet PC fixing frame is fixedly installed on a surface of the case, and the keyboard main body is fixedly installed on the other surface of the case. The keyboard main body includes keys/keycaps, a fixing film/air hole layer, metal domes, an air slot layer, a conductive film/PCB and a key plate. The key plate is disposed above the lowest layer and is fixedly installed on the case. The conductive film/PCB is disposed above the key plate, the air slot layer is disposed above the conductive film/PCB, and the metal domes are disposed above conductive film/PCB. More than one metal dome is disposed corresponding to key configurations on the keyboard, the fixing film/air hole layer is disposed above the metal domes, and the keys/keycaps are disposed above the fixing film/air hole layer. The present invention has characteristics of being light, thin, and easy to carry, and having a Bluetooth function, a short stroke, and lower noises, etc.

摘要： There is disclosed a click disc switch assembly comprising a plate-like base having on it electroconductive ink paths including (a) "row" paths each including a respective row of contact pads in a row-and-column matrix of such pads on the base, and (b) "column" paths corresponding to the columns of the matrix and including respective junction pads. Overlying the columns of the matrix are click disc strips secured to the rest of the assembly solely by being adhered to an overlying sheet sealing the top of the assembly. Interposed between the strips and the "row" paths is an insulating layer deposited on the base to cover portions of the row paths while leaving uncovered their junction pads. Each click disc is electrically coupled to the corresponding "column" path on the base by the coming into contact of the disc when depressed to branch segments of a further electroconductive ink path (one for each click disc strip) deposited on the insulate layer and attached through an aperture therein to the junction pad of that "column" path. Variations in the thickness of the paths on the base and on the layer are cancelled out by depositing on the base, below the click discs, pairs of bars of the same thickness as the lead portions of the paths on the base, and by raising the contact pads by an amount equal to the thickness of the paths on the layer. The base is a laminar member comprising an overlying flexible plastic sheet adhered to an underlying stiffening board. The assembly may include a tail for connecting it to other circuitry.
