    摘要: This invention relates to a method for dismantling a cylindrical tank, comprising steps of separating the sidewall of the tank from its bottom plate, cutting the sidewall into portions along a spiral line provided on the periphery of the tank in the direction from the lower end to the upper end, and removing the portions while temporarily supporting the sidewall, said temporary supporting step being conducted so that the lower end of the removed portion is gradually lowered and the location to support the sidewall shifts as the removing step proceeds. According to this invention, one can safely and inexpensively dismantle a cylindrical tank. The method of this invention can be used even if some structures exist in the peripheral area of the cylindrical tank. Further, this method does not need a step for providing rotatably movable means or a step for rotating the upper part of the tank, resulting in a simple method that is easy to implement.

    摘要: A demolition tool includes a carrier body and two tool blades mounted thereon to define a tool mouth for receiving material to be crushed. The demolition tool further has a hydraulic cylinder including a cylinder housing as well as first and second chambers defined therein. A piston rod is received in the cylinder housing and projects therefrom for moving at least one of the blades. First and second pistons are spacedly affixed to the piston rod and bound the first and second chambers, respectively. Hydraulic fluid is introducible into the first and second chambers for exposing the pistons to pressure to generate a force for moving the piston rod in a working direction. A control unit is operatively connected to the chambers for controlling admission of hydraulic fluid thereto. The control unit has a first position in which the control unit admits hydraulic fluid solely to the second chamber and a second position in which the control unit admits hydraulic fluid under pressure to the first chamber.

    摘要: A working machine comprises a machine body provided with a pair of arms which are arranged for movement toward and away from each other. The machine body is disposed for rotation, relative to a bracket mounted on the machine body, about an axis. A hydraulic cylinder assembly has a single cylinder defining therein a hydraulic chamber, and a single piston mounted to a piston rod extending through the hydraulic chamber, the piston rod having opposite ends thereof, which extend respectively from opposite ends of the hydraulic chamber, and which are fixedly connected to the bracket. Upon introduction of hydraulic fluid into the hydraulic chamber, the cylinder and a rack fixedly mounted to the outside of the cylinder are moved in the direction perpendicular to the axis, so as to cause a pinion meshing with the rack and the machine body connected with the pinion to rotate about the axis, thereby changing the direction of the plane in which the arms mounted on the machine body are moved.
