摘要: A high-strength steel includes a steel structure with: in area fraction, 60.0% to less than 90.0% of ferrite, 0% to less than 5.0% of unrecrystallized ferrite, 2.0% to 25.0% of martensite, 0% to 5.0% of carbide, and 0% to 3.0% of bainite; in volume fraction, more than 7.0% of retained austenite; in a cross-sectional view of 100 μm×100 μm, a value obtained by dividing number of retained austenite that are not adjacent to retained austenite whose crystal orientations are different by a total number of retained austenite being less than 0.80, an average crystal grain size of the ferrite being 6.0 μm or less, an average crystal grain size of the retained austenite being 3.0 μm or less, and a value obtained by dividing, by mass %, an average content of Mn in the retained austenite by an average content of Mn in steel being 1.50 or more.

摘要: With a hot-rolled steel sheet for electrical steel sheet production having a scale layer on the surface, where the surface of the steel sheet has a lightness L* as defined in JIS Z 8781-4: 2013 satisfying 30≤L*≤50, and chromaticities a* and b* as defined in JIS Z 8781-4: 2013 satisfying −1≤a*≤2 and −5≤b*≤3 respectively, and with one end portion in the longitudinal direction of a coil as a reference, a color difference ΔEab* as defined in JIS Z 8781-4: 2013 at the central portion and at the opposite end portion satisfies ΔEab*≤8, it is possible to obtain a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet where the variation of properties in a product coil is small.

摘要: A hot-rolled steel sheet for a heavy-wall, high-strength line pipe, the steel sheet having a chemical composition including, in mass %, C: 0.02 to 0.20%, Mn: 0.80 to 2.10%, Si: 0.01 to 0.50%, P: 0.034% or less, S: 0.0050% or less, Nb: 0.01 to 0.15%, Ti: 0.001 to 0.030%, and Al: 0.001 to 0.080%, the balance being Fe and incidental impurities, the steel sheet having a microstructure in which a main phase is a continuous cooling transformation structure and in which {001}α grains in a plane whose normal direction is the sheet width direction constitute an area fraction of 10% or less and have a combined size of 10 μm or less, wherein the steel sheet has a tensile strength of 520 MPa or greater, and, in a drop weight tear test, a temperature at which a percent ductile fracture reaches 85% is −25° C. or lower.

The components are made of a high corrosion high temperature resistant alloy, capable of resisting to corrosion and/or stress at high temperature better than state of art martensitic stainless steels and behaving similarly to premium nickel base superalloys, and at the same time showing a very improved hardness value.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a stainless steel pipe includes preparing a hollow shell having a composition (mass %): up to 0.05% C; up to 1.0% Si; 0.01 to 1.0% Mn; up to 0.05% P; below 0.002% S; 0.001 to 0.1% Al; 16.0 to 18.0% Cr; 3.0 to 5.5% Ni; 1.8 to 3.0% Mo; 1.0 to 3.5% Cu; up to 0.05% N; up to 0.05% O; 0 to 0.3% Ti; 0 to 0.3% Nb; 0 to 0.3% V; 0 to 2.0% W; 0 to 0.01% Ca; 0 to 0.01% B; the balance Fe and impurities, holding the shell in a temperature range of 420 to 460° C. for 60 to 180 minutes; and then holding the shell in a temperature range of 550 to 600° C. for 5 to 300 minutes.

摘要: A metal article including an at least partially heat treated metal composition, and a method for treating the metal article are provided. The method for treating the metal article may include heating the metal article to a first holding temperature of about 690° C., and holding the metal article at the first holding temperature for at least about 10 hours. The method may also include cooling the metal article from the first holding temperature to a first cooling temperature of about 65° C. or less. The method may further include heating the metal article to a second holding temperature of about 615° C., and holding the metal article at the second holding temperature for at least about 10 hours. The method may also include cooling the metal article from the second holding temperature to a second cooling temperature of about 65° C. or less.
