The direction system can control at least one of the up and down angle and the side to side angle of the ball as it is thrown, among possibly other throwing parameters. A controller may be provided for controlling operation of the ball throwing machine.

摘要： [Problem] To supply a composite type bat structure for achieving maximum hitting efficiency[Solution] A composite type bat structure comprises a barrel portion made from a metal cylindrical body for forming a center of percussion, a cap portion attached to the distal end of the barrel portion, a throat portion extending from the rear end of the barrel portion to a grip portion, and the grip portion made from fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) and having a grip end on the rear end; wherein a distal end opening of the barrel portion comprising the hollow metal cylindrical body is closed by the cap portion, with a prescribed weight being added to the cap portion, so that the center of gravity of the barrel portion in the lower barrel portion is moved toward the distal end of the bat. The FRP grip portion and the FRP grip end are formed separately from each other, thereby allowing an atypical grip shape to be easily formed. The atypical grip has the function of locking the bottom hand at a hitting swing. The distal end of the grip portion is extended and connected integrally to the throat portion, where the rear end of the barrel portion and the distal end of the grip end are connected via a vibration damping coupling part that has a vibration damping ratio smaller than the grip portion and larger than the barrel portion metal. Thus, the composite type bat structure allows players to realize a better hitting efficiency and to minimize a shock at the time of a hitting impact.

摘要： To provide a bat gripping structure that enables a batter to achieve a proper grip, a grip structure is provided in which the bat is in the “top” position during the take-back of batting, in order to accomplish the swing “to put the bat outwardly from inside” along a line of the bottom hand, a locking structure that enables a lower region (bottom grip) of the grip portion to be gripped at the grip portion of the bat under the palmar grip is employed to provide the grip structure effective to lock the palmar grip of the bottom hand, so that a proper swing to “put the bat out from inside” may be achieved and the angular velocity during the bat swinging is increased. Also, the bat structure is also provided in which by adding a weight ΔM (10˜100 gr) to the bat head H of the bat having the grip structure of the kind referred to above, the batting energy at the sweet spot is improved to enhance the impact having the maximum batting effect.

摘要： A helmet configured to protect a human head against mild traumatic brain injury upon impact includes an outer shell and a liner consisting of fluid fillable flexible fluid chambers fluidly connected to each other by fluid connections. The fluid chambers being spaced around the circumference of the helmet and configured to fill a space between the head and the outer shell when the helmet is positioned on the head. Impact resistant flexible pads are also in the liner and are spaced around an inner circumference of the outer shell adjacent to each of the fluid fillable flexible fluid chambers. A flexible inner shell inside the liner is configured to fit closely on the head. The flexible fluid chambers are configured to compress in response to impacting of the helmet on an impact side and to force liquids through the fluid connections to inflate other fluid chambers inside the helmet thereby cushioning the head against a rebound impact on the inside of the helmet.
