Therefore, such dirty component can be cleaned as bacteria, molds etc. by use of the cleaning apparatus of the invention.

摘要： An empty shell casing retrieval system has a metal detector and retrieval system. The metal detector has a metal detector having a metal detecting coil and a readout gauge and an on/off switch. A hollow tube has a metal detecting coil attached to one end portion thereof and the readout gauge and on/off switch attached to the other end of the hollow tube. A collection container is attached to the hollow tube for collecting metal pieces being drawn through the hollow tube and a vacuum cleaner or other vacuum source is attached to the hollow tube for placing a negative pressure in the tube to draw pieces of detected metal into the hollow tube and collection container. The tube has a plenum in one end having a separation screen therein for preventing metal pieces from entering the vacuum source. The metal detector readout gauge and switch are mounted remotely on the plenum and the handle has a vacuum on/off switch attached thereto.

摘要： A roller vacuum apparatus removes cement slurry from a freshly laid exposed aggregate surface. In one embodiment, the exposed aggregate surface is applied to a cement substrate which is worked to compact the aggregate and draw the portland cement in the mixture to the surface of the coating. Subsequently, the surface coating is washed to remove excess portland cement. The roller vacuum removes the cement slurry without disturbing the freshly laid exposed aggregate surface by wicking the slurry into a transfer medium of the vacuum roller. A vacuum is applied to the transfer medium to remove the cement slurry from the roller.

摘要： A telescoping cleaning tool adapted to remove debris and the like from a poorly accessible surface. The tool includes telescoping inner and outer tubes wherein one end of one of the tubes is adapted to receive air under pressure, as from an air nozzle, and the opposite end of the other tube is provided with a sharpened edge for scraping debris and the like from a surface. An orifice is provided adjacent the sharpened edge for directing the air under pressure against such debris. The one tube is preferably provided with a handle near its air-receiving end so that an operator may grasp the handle with the fingers and press the air-receiving end into an air nozzle held in the palm of the hand, thereby permitting the tool to be used with one hand only. Upon application of air pressure, the tube bearing the sharpened edge is caused to extend axially outwardly of the other tube, and the air under pressure is directed through the orifice in the end of the extended tube so as to blow away debris from a surface as the same is loosened by scraping with the sharpened edge. Means are provided to prevent the member having the sharpened edge from completely escaping, when extended, from the other member.
