    摘要: A system and method to facilitate the growth of a plant in a building. The system includes a substrate that is substantially solid, an inflatable raft, or that has an upper member and a lower member with a space therebetween to establish an interior of the substrate. Either form of substrate includes one or more plant retainers and a set of one or more gaseous fluid delivery ports located regularly or irregularly throughout the substrate, including localized in a vicinity of each of the one or more plant retainers. The system further includes a climate delivery subsystem including a gaseous fluid source, a gaseous fluid delivery apparatus, such as a pump and one or more conduits in the substrate, wherein each of the one or more conduits is in communication with each set of the one or more gaseous fluid delivery ports for delivery of the gaseous fluid to an underside of the plant, wherein the one or more conduits are coupled to the gaseous fluid delivery apparatus.

    摘要: A valve includes an inlet and an outlet; a body including a first seat and a second seat; a cavity in the body; a piston positioned in the cavity; and a pilot ball adjacent the piston and that is disposed in a pilot seat, and a rear surface of the piston butts against the pilot seat at a maximum open position of the piston. Each of the first seat and the second seat is a seat that is a mechanical stop that prevents the piston from extending further than the closed position. The piston includes a flat front face that contacts the first seat when in the closed position, and a nose extension that extends outward and away from a center portion of the front face, and the nose extension has an opening through a center of a front surface thereof.

    摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for controlling a ratio of carbon dioxide to oxygen in a grow space by removing O2 from the grow space, and, in some cases, adding supplemental CO2 to the grow space to achieve a desired ratio of CO2 to O2. Various approaches include filtering out oxygen or reacting O2 with a reactant to produce O2-reduced air; and removing air from the grow space, removing nitrogen from the removed air, and (a) separating out CO2 and returning the nitrogen and the CO2 to the grow space, or (b) adding supplemental CO2 and the nitrogen to the grow space. Another approach removes air from the grow space, separates out gasses including N2 and CO2, and returns the N2 or the CO2 to the grow space.
