    Abstract: A magnetic-inductive flow meter includes: a measuring tube for guiding a flowable medium in a longitudinal direction; a measuring electrode arrangement for detecting a measurement voltage dependent on the flow velocity, induced in the medium, two measuring electrode groups opposite one another on the measuring tube; and a magnetic field generating device for generating a magnetic field which passes through the measuring tube and including at least two coil core groups, each having at least two coil cores, wherein a first and a second part of the measuring tube each include at least one coil core group, wherein two radii, which intersect the coil cores of a coil core group that lie externally in a cross-sectional plane of the measuring tube, enclose a centre angle β by which 80°≤β≤105°.

    Abstract: A magnetic-inductive flow meter includes: a measuring tube for conducting a flowable medium, the measuring tube having a wall; at least three measuring electrodes arranged in the wall to form a galvanic contact with the flowing medium; a magnetic field-generating device for generating a magnetic field that passes through the medium; a measuring circuit designed to ascertain at least one first measurement variable, wherein measured values of the first measurement variable are ascertained at a first measuring electrode pair; and an analysis circuit designed to ascertain a Reynolds number and/or a kinematic viscosity value of the medium in the measuring tube using measured values for the first measurement variable and a second measurement variable, which differs from the first measurement variable, the measured values of the second measurement variable being ascertained at a second measuring electrode pair.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a thermal flowmeter for measuring mass flow of a medium in a measuring tube, comprising: a measuring tube having a tube wall and a tube axis; a sensor with four probes, extending from a sensor base into the measuring tube, wherein the probes are adapted to heat medium, to determine its temperature or to influence a flow of the medium; and an electronic circuit, adapted to operate the probes and to create and to provide flow measured values. Each probe has a probe base and a probe active portion, wherein the probe active portion is adapted to heat the medium, to determine the temperature of the medium, and/or to influence a flow of the medium. The probe bases define a rhombus on a surface of the sensor base, wherein the rhombus is defined by geometric centers of cross sections of the probe bases.

    Abstract: A method for putting into operation and/or checking an ultrasonic, flow measuring point using a service unit, wherein the service unit has a display unit and a camera, wherein the measuring point includes a pipeline for conveying a medium and at least one ultrasonic transducer, includes identifying the measuring point vis a vis the service unit; ascertaining settable parameters based on the identity of the measuring point; registering geometric data of at least one part of the measuring point by means of the camera; analyzing registered geometric data and deriving at least one parameter value for at least one of the parameters to be set based on the analytical result and the identity; ascertaining at least one optimum mounting position based at least on the derived parameter value; and mounting an ultrasonic transducer at one of the ascertained optimum mounting positions.

    Abstract: The method of the present disclosure is used to monitor a condition of a measurement sensor comprising an oscillator, which has a measuring tube for conveying the medium, and a condition parameter dependent upon a further physical parameter.
