    摘要: An information processing apparatus and method for providing images which coincide in reproduction time and atmosphere with BGM as a slideshow to a user. From sound data to be used for production of BGM, a head no-sound interval detection section detects a head no-sound interval and a tail no-sound interval detection section detects a tail no-sound interval while a tail fade-out interval detection section detects a tail fade-out interval. A play interval specification section specifies a play interval of the sound data other than the head and tail no-sound intervals, and an image content allocation section allocates photo album information and effect data to the play interval to produce vector data. A fade-out process setting section updates the vector data so that a fade-out process may be applied to images within the tail fade-out interval.

    摘要: Time required for setting a print mode in a print standby state is shortened, in performing recovering operation. In an attachment state of consumable units on an image forming apparatus, information of the consumable unit memorized in nonvolatile memories of consumable units is memorized in a second nonvolatile memory, and after the print mode is set in an unprintable state, recovering operation having possibility of replacing the consumable units is performed. Thereafter, whether the same consumable units as those before the unprintable state are attached to the image forming apparatus is determined. At this time, a signal based on the information of the consumable units memorized in the nonvolatile memory is transmitted to a bus connected to a plurality of nonvolatile memories, and when there is a reply of a part of the information in the nonvolatile memories to this transmission, it is determined that the same consumable units as those before the unprintable state are attached to the image forming apparatus.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method for total synthesis of CTX1B, which is developed for the synthesis of a ciguatoxin analogue such as CTX3C and enables the more efficient application of an established reaction to the total synthesis of CTC1B. More specifically, disclosed is a method for total synthesis of CTX1B comprising; an O.S-acetal formation for synthesizing a novel compound (3); a radical cyclization reaction for constructing a 9-membered ring formation reaction including a novel compound (6) through a novel compound (8) and yielding a compound (D); and a deprotection for yielding CTX1B. Also disclosed are novel compounds (1) to (8) which are particularly useful for synthesis of CTX1B and can be used for the synthesis of a ciguatoxin analogue.

    摘要: An information processing apparatus and method is disclosed wherein slideshow images can be reproduced for an arbitrary period of time. A scaling coefficient calculation section divides a slideshow reproduction time period by a selected effect total time period to calculate the ratio between them as a scaling coefficient and supplies the calculated scaling coefficient to a correction section. The correction section corrects the reproduction time period of each effect of a deletion result supplied from a deletion candidate deletion section or each selected effect supplied from an effect selection section using the scaling coefficient supplied from the scaling coefficient calculation section so as to make the total reproduction time period of the selected effects coincide with a slideshow reproduction time period. The invention can be applied to a personal computer or the like which can handle still pictures.
