摘要: Systems and methods relating to 6-port and/or greater than 8-port Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) configurations are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a radio access node in a cellular communications network comprises configuring a plurality of CSI-RS ports for a wireless device, where the plurality of CSI-RS ports is six CSI-RS ports, ten CSI-RS ports, twelve CSI-RS ports, fourteen CSI-RS ports, or sixteen CSI-RS ports, depending on the embodiment. The method further comprises transmitting CSI-RS on at least a subset of the plurality of CSI-RS ports configured for the wireless device. In this manner, support for, e.g., an increased number of antenna ports and/or support for two-dimensional (2D) antenna arrays is provided.

摘要: According to some embodiments, a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless system comprises allocating a first uplink sub-channel to the wireless device in a first subframe associated with the wireless device. The first uplink sub-channel comprises a portion of an uplink system bandwidth, and portions of the uplink system bandwidth outside of the first uplink sub-channel are not available for transmission in the first subframe by the wireless device. The method further comprises determining a first sounding reference signal (SRS) sub-channel. The first SRS sub-channel comprises a portion of the first uplink sub-channel in frequency domain, and the SRS sub-channel is available for transmitting SRS in the first subframe by the wireless device.

摘要: A method for a UE in a multiple transmission points communication system, mTRP, scheme, is provided. The method includes receiving downlink control information, DCI, indicating at least two transmission points scheme for a scheduled data transmission on physical resource blocks, PRBs. The PRBs includes at least a first subsets of PRBs, associated with a first transmission point, and a second subset of PRBs, associated with a second transmission point. The method further includes determining a first PT-RS frequency density for the first set of PRBs based on the number of PRBs in the first set of PRBs and a second PT-RS frequency density based on the number of PRBs in the second set of PRBs. A UE, methods for a base station and a base station are also provided.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for providing aperiodic Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) triggering in a wireless system. Embodiments of a method performed by a wireless device and corresponding embodiments of a wireless device are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method in a wireless device for triggering aperiodic SRS comprises receiving a first SRS configuration for a first type of aperiodic SRS transmission and a second SRS configuration for a second type of aperiodic SRS transmission. The method further comprises receiving downlink control information comprising a parameter for triggering an aperiodic SRS transmission and determining whether to use the first SRS configuration or the second SRS configuration. The method further comprises transmitting an aperiodic SRS transmission in accordance with the determined SRS configuration. 摘要: Systems and methods for linking Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) candidates are provided herein. In some embodiments, a method includes: receiving a configuration of a first and second Control Resource Set (CORESET) associated with a first and second Search Space (SS) set; determining that the first and second SS set are configured with a common set of parameters; activating the first and second CORESET with a first and second TCI state; linking a first PDCCH candidate in a first PDCCH monitoring occasion to a second PDCCH candidate in a second PDCCH monitoring occasion; receiving a PDCCH in the first PDCCH candidate and the PDCCH in the second PDCCH candidate; and detecting the PDCCH in the first and the second PDCCH candidates. Some embodiments might provide a simple way for linking PDCCH candidates in two SS sets to support both intra-slot and inter-slot PDCCH repetition in either TDM or FDM manner.

摘要: Embodiments herein show a method performed by a user equipment for handling communication via a set of serving cells comprising a first serving cell and a second serving cell of a communication network. The user equipment receives a grant on a first serving cell, wherein the grant comprises a first identifier identifying Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) resources of the first serving cell. Furthermore, the user equipment calculates a first CSI report for the first serving cell using the CSI-RS resources identified by the first identifier; and calculates a second CSI report for a second serving cell, using CSI-RS resources of the second serving cell identified by a second identifier, the second identifier being received previously in a grant on the second serving cell. The user equipment then transmits the first and second CSI reports to a network node serving the first serving cell.
