    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a document processing device and document processing method that can provide a search result satisfactory to a user with respect to WWW documents in which a number of links among WWW documents is low and a number of accesses by users is low. An access pattern collection unit 101 generates an access user vector uj of one WWW document Dj and an access user vector uje of another document Dje. A user similarity computing unit 105 computes a document similarity sim (uj, uje) which indicates a user similarity between the WWW document Dj and WWW document Dje. A keyword vector smoothing unit 106 acquires a smoothed keyword weight vector w′j by correcting a keyword weight vector wj in one document, using the computed document similarity sim (uj, uje). An rearranging unit 110 calculates an evaluation value B_SCORE for input information for searching, based on the smoothed keyword weight vector w′j.

The microphone system has a first microphone mechanism 1a which has a sound hole for introducing sound and a second microphone mechanism 1b which is enclosed without a sound hole.     摘要: A method and an apparatus improving the coding efficiency by representing encoded data in a compact form by means of a pattern matching technique. A waveform vector similar to a partial signal waveform of an image signal in a predetermined group of waveform vectors is searched for. When a compression encoding is performed for information to identify the waveform vector searched for, similarity information, and a position in an image signal of the partial signal waveform in accordance with a predetermined encoding rule, the position in the image signal of the partial signal waveform is encoded through replacement with position information in a predetermined partial domain of the image signal. As a result, since the position in the image of the partial signal waveform that is the most similar to the waveform vector is encoded through replacement with the position information in the predetermined partial domain of the image signal, it is possible to represent the position more compactly.

    摘要: A great decrease of a step, i.e., block distortion, of such as unnatural, abnormal or artifact brightness and color, on a block boundary, leads to much visual improvement of picture quality. Against a picture that has been encoded and decoded by block, the smoothing filter characteristics is changed according to quantizing parameter, block activity of a decoded picture, the activity of each pixel of the decoded picture, and the position with respect to a block boundary of a pixel. A smoothing filter utilizes a weighted mean whose weight is the inverse number of a difference between a target pixel and its surrounding pixels. The weighted mean is obtained by adding a certain number to a weight before taking its inverse number. The value to be added is controlled by the parameter. Similarly, the mixing ratio of a pixel value after performing the smoothing filter and a decoded pixel value is changed depending on the parameter. A filter having strong edge preserving property is utilized for the inside of a block, and a filter having weak edge preserving property is utilized for a block boundary. A filter having edge preserving property is utilized for the post/loop filter.
