Abstract: A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a substrate including a first area, a second area, and a first bending area located between the first and second areas. The first bending area is bent about a first bending axis extending in a first direction. The display device also includes a first inorganic insulating layer arranged over the substrate and having a first opening or a first groove at least in the first bending area, an organic material layer filling at least a part of the first opening or the first groove, and a first conductive layer extending from the first area to the second area across the first bending area and located over the organic material layer.

Abstract: A display device includes a data line, a vertical transmission line and a horizontal transmission line. The data line extends in a first direction and is arranged in a second direction on a display area divided into upper and lower display areas, and is connected to pixels. A vertical transmission line extends in the first direction on the display area. The vertical transmission line receives a ground power supply voltage from an upper side of the display area to transfer the ground power supply voltage to the pixels, and receives a data voltage from a lower side of the display area. A horizontal transmission line extends in the second direction on the display area and is arranged in the first direction. The horizontal transmission line is connected to the vertical transmission line and the data line on the lower display area to transfer the data voltage to the data line.

Abstract: A display apparatus may include a substrate having a first bending area between a first area and a second area, the first bending area to be bent with a first bending axis that extends along a first direction, as a center; a first inorganic insulating layer on the substrate and having a first opening corresponding to the first bending area; a first organic material layer filling at least a portion of the first opening; and a first conductive layer that extends from the first area to the second area through the first bending area and is on the first organic material layer. The first organic material layer may have a concavo-convex surface at least in a portion of an upper surface thereof. At least a portion of the first conductive layer may extend along a third direction forming an angle of about 0° to about 90° with the first direction.

Abstract: A display device includes a first active pattern disposed on a substrate and including a first material, a second active pattern including a second material that is different from the first material of the first active pattern, a voltage line disposed under the second active pattern, a horizontal transmission line disposed on the second active pattern, and extending in a first direction and a connection pattern spaced apart from the horizontal transmission line, disposed on a same layer as the horizontal transmission line, and making electrical contact with the second active pattern and the voltage line. The horizontal transmission line and the voltage line may be spaced apart from each other and the second active pattern and the voltage line may make contact with each other through the connection pattern. Accordingly, a contact resistance value may be reduced, and a distribution of contact resistance values may resultantly be reduced.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display apparatus that is capable of reducing manufacturing costs and a defect rate during manufacturing, and a display apparatus. The method includes forming a plurality of display units over a mother substrate; attaching a temporary protective film to a lower surface of the mother substrate; cutting the mother substrate and the temporary protective film along a periphery of each of the plurality of display units to obtain a plurality of display panels, each including a first area, a second area, and a bent area between the first area and the second area; removing the temporary protective film from the plurality of display panels; and attaching a lower protective film to a lower surface of each of the plurality of display panels so as to correspond to the first area in each display panel.
