Abstract: A display device and a method of manufacturing a display device are provided. The display device includes: a base substrate; a color conversion pattern disposed on the base substrate; and a low refractive layer disposed on the base substrate, stacked with the color conversion pattern, and having a lower refractive index than the color conversion pattern. The low refractive layer includes a first base resin and particle clusters dispersed in the first base resin, and the particle clusters include a plurality of particles and bridges that combine the particles.

Abstract: A liquid crystal composition includes: at least one liquid crystal compound selected from the group consisting of Chemical Formulas 1-1 to 1-8; at least one self-aligned compound selected from the group consisting of Chemical Formulas 2-1 and 2-2; and at least one reactive mesogen selected from the group consisting of Chemical Formulas 3-1 to 3-5. Compositions and devices constructed therewith are capable of ameliorating liquid crystal drip spots that typically occur in a manufacturing process. In addition, the display devices using the composition do not require an additional alignment layer, which simplifies manufacturing.

The vertical alignment inducing layer includes a self-aligned vertical alignment inducer, and the vertical alignment inducer includes a hydrophilic group, and an affinity liquid crystal group having high affinity with the liquid crystal molecules.
