    Abstract: A decoding device and an encoding device for storage of EVC decoder configuration information are disclosed. The decoding device includes a communication interface and a processor operably coupled to the communication interface. The communication interface receives a compressed bitstream. The processor identifies a frame width value and a frame height value in a video decoder configuration record in combination with an SPS_in_stream value; and decodes the compressed video bitstream based on the frame width value and frame height value.

    Abstract: A decoding device, method, and computer readable medium for partial access metadata for video-based point cloud compression data are disclosed. The decoding device for point cloud decoding includes a communication interface and a processor operably coupled to the communication interface. The communication interface receives a compressed bitstream and metadata related to the compressed bitstream. The processor identifies, in the metadata, region information that indicates a region of a point cloud based on a user perspective; locates a track of the compressed bitstream that corresponds to the region information; identifies, in the track, objects corresponding to the region of the point cloud; and decodes for display of an object, included in the objects identified in the track, that is visible from the user perspective.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes a communication interface and a processor for providing volumetric conversational service. The communication interface receives a signaling message, from a plurality of user equipment (UEs), indicating a capability of the UEs to process participant volumetric content. The processor is operably coupled to the communication interface and identifies a conference associated with the UEs for which volumetric processing is requested. The processor further provisions a plurality of media resource functions in edge application servers of edge data networks for processing the participant volumetric content from the UEs. The processor assigns one or more of the UEs to a respective media resource function of the media resource functions. Additionally, the processor instructs the participant volumetric content received from the UEs to the media resource functions. The processor instructs conference volumetric content converted by the respective media resource functions to the UEs for the conference.
