    Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically navigating content are provided. An input to perform content navigation may be detected; in response, several selectable navigation settings are displayed, each navigation setting being associated with a navigation interval. An input indicating a selection of a navigation setting may be received and an input about a navigation amount may be received. Based on the navigation amount, navigation within the navigation interval is performed.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described to identify jump points indicative of potential time points from which to resume consumption of the media asset in response to receiving a request to skip a portion of a media asset being consumed. The jump points include a first jump point identified based on a content viewing profile and a second jump point identified based on a scene information associated with the media asset. A preview image is displayed at each of the identified jump points. Systems and methods are also described to pause the skipping operation at the identified jump points and provide a preview at the respective jump points. Systems and method are further described to identify jump points based on analysis of the portion of the media asset being skipped.

    Abstract: A system or method of prioritizing participants in a virtual meeting via a network by scoring each participant on several criteria and weighting the criteria to determine a readiness score. The system of accesses, for each of a plurality of participants, network data, video data, audio data, processing data, and participation data. The system determines, for each of the plurality of participants, a signal strength score based on the corresponding network data, a background score based on the corresponding video data and audio data, a microphone proximity score based on the corresponding video data, a processing score for each of the plurality of participants based on the corresponding processing data, and an engagement score based on the corresponding video data and participation data. The system calculates the readiness score, for each participant, based at least on the corresponding signal strength score, background score, engagement score, and processing score, ranks the participants, and provides the ranked participants.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for causing to be provided reminders during consumption of a content item. The system detects subjects and the associations among them that are referenced in the content item and generates metadata with information about the associations. The metadata is used to determine, during later content item consumption, if at least one criterion for providing a reminder of the association is satisfied. For example, a criterion that at least two months must pass before a reminder is given regarding the relationship between characters in a video game is satisfied when a video game player has not been shown information about the relationship in three months. Accordingly, the system causes to be displayed the reminder of the association when the at least criterion is satisfied.

A summary application detects missed content, that comprises a plurality of storylines.     Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating metadata for a media asset. The system retrieves an associated first metadata item for a media asset, where the first metadata item includes a first label field and an associated first data field. The system tries to fill in the first data field by looking it up in a remote database. If the remote database lacks data needed to fill in the first data field, the system generates a natural language request and publishes it to a plurality of users. The system analyzes a plurality of replies received in response to the published request to identify a text segment that is common to at least some of the replies. The system fills in the first data field with the identified text segment.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for generating query suggestions. The method comprising retrieving a plurality of metadata fields associated with a media asset, generating, based on the retrieved plurality of metadata fields, a plurality of combinations of the metadata fields. For each respective combination of the metadata fields of the plurality of combinations, the method searches a database for media assets that comprise metadata fields matching the respective combination of the metadata fields, and calculates a number media assets that match the respective combination based on the searching. The method selects a combination of the metadata fields of the plurality of combinations with a lowest associated calculated number of matching media assets, creates a suggested query based on the selected combination of metadata fields, and outputs the suggested query.
