    Abstract: A base station may receive from a user equipment (UE) a proactive notification that the UE will perform a beam switch from a first UE beam to a second UE beam. In response, the base station may determine a beam switch slot on which the UE will perform the synchronized beam switch, and perform a link transient mitigation operation for communications with the UE after UE beam switch and until updating channel state information associated with a new UE beam. The base station may then receive from the UE channel state information feedback for a channel associated with the second UE beam, and adjust downlink data transmission parameters to be aligned with the second UE beam based on the received channel state information feedback (CSF). The base station may also adjust uplink data transmission parameters based on a sounding reference signal transmitted by the UE over the second UE beam.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to devices, systems and methods for multi-beam formation. A user equipment (UE) may determine a sampling interval for references signals to be transmitted by a base station for an upcoming control or data communication. For example, the UE may determine a maximum sampling interval tolerable for channel estimation and select the sampling interval based on the maximum. In some examples, the UE determines the sampling interval based on characteristics of its motion. The UE transmits an indication of the sampling interval to the base station. Based on the indication, the base station selects an interval for the reference signals and transmits the reference signals to the UE to enable it to perform the channel estimation for the multi-beam. The base station may determine to select the interval for the reference signals such that it is less than or equal to the sampling interval indicated by the UE.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, on a first carrier having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), a scheduling indication via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling a downlink transmission on a second carrier having a second SCS. The UE may process the downlink transmission on the second carrier based at least in part on a delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission and a timing threshold having a basic term and an adjustment term. For example, the basic term may be based at least in part on a minimum delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission, and the adjustment term may be based at least in part on a processing time due to a difference between the first SCS and the second SCS.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for signaling of UE intra/inter-panel beam switch latency using communications systems operating according to new radio (NR) technologies. For example, the method generally includes determining at least a first latency associated with a beam switch across at least first and second antenna array modules, wherein the first latency is greater than or equal to a second latency associated with a beam switch within the first or second antenna module, and signaling a second device an indication of when to assume the first latency for a beam switch at the first device.
