Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a configuration for identifying availability and reliability of the availability for resources of a sidelink resource pool based on a plurality of signal quality thresholds. The UE may indicate, for each resource of a set of resources of the sidelink resource pool and based on the configuration, an indication of availability with respect to a first signal quality threshold and an indication of reliability of the availability with respect to a second signal quality threshold. The UE may select one or more resources of the sidelink resource pool based on the indication of availability and the indication of reliability of the availability for reach resource of the set of resources.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a grant for a communication with the base station. The UE may determine whether the communication is associated with a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-based transmission mode or a HARQ-less transmission mode. The UE may communicate with the base station based at least in part on the grant and the determination of whether the communication is associated with the HARQ-based transmission mode or the HARQ-less transmission mode. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) sends an indication supported combinations of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources, unsupported combinations of SRS resources, or compatible SRS resources to a base station. The base station selects one or more SRS resources for the UE from the SRS resources that are supported by the UE or are compatible for the UE. In some examples, the UE receives a configuration from the base station for multiple SRS resource sets. After configuring the UE with multiple SRS resource sets, the base station selects one of the SRS resources sets, and may indicate the selected SRS resource set to the UE. The UE transmits a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) to the base station using SRS resources from the selected SRS resource set.

Abstract: Techniques for signaling varied modulation and coding schemes for wireless communication are discussed. A method of wireless communication may comprise receiving, by a user equipment (UE), an indication to apply a modulation order cap to determine a first modulation and coding scheme for transmission of uplink control information different from a second modulation and coding scheme for transmission of data. The method may further comprise transmitting the uplink control information using the first modulation and coding scheme, wherein the first modulation and coding scheme is determined based, at least in part, on the received indication to apply the modulation order cap.

A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configuration for an uplink message that may indicate for the UE to refrain from including DMRS in at least a first portion of the uplink message based on the DMRS configuration. The UE may encode the uplink message without the DMRS in at least the first portion of the uplink message in accordance with the DMRS configuration. The UE may transmit the uplink message based on encoding the uplink message, and a network entity may receive and decode the uplink message. In some examples, the network entity may receive signaling that includes a set of uplink messages from different UEs. As such, the network entity may decode each, using a respective Reed-Muller (RM) code in accordance with a multi-user decoding algorithm.

A user equipment (UE) may monitor for a downlink transmission from a network device, the downlink transmission comprising a set of parity bits. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the monitoring, a number of parity checks of the set of parity bits that either failed a parity check procedure or satisfied the parity check procedure. The UE may identify, based at least in part on the monitoring and the number of parity checks, a feedback status indicator for the downlink transmission. The UE may transmit a feedback message that includes the feedback status indicator and additional information based at least in part on the number of parity checks.
