    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a method performed at a user equipment (UE) that includes determining a first suggested modulation coding scheme (MCS) and a second suggested MCS for one or more first time periods and one or more second time periods, respectively, based on first/second time differences between the one or more first time periods/second time periods and one or more time periods allocated for a demodulation reference signal (DMRS). The method further includes receiving, from the BS, an indication of a first MCS and a second MCS determined by the BS based on the first suggested MCS and the second suggested MCS. The method further includes receiving, from the BS, data in the one or more first time periods using the first MCS and data in the one or more second time periods using the second MCS.

In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving a reference signal and transmitting compression point information responsive to the reference signal, where the compression point information is determined based on the reference signal.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a reference signal from a network entity. The UE may transmit, to the network entity, an estimation of a frequency domain imbalance between an in-phase portion of the reference signal and a quadrature-phase portion of the reference signal based on a precoding matrix associated with transmissions from the network entity and an estimation of one or more channel conditions between the UE and the network entity. The network entity may perform an imbalance compensation operation that balances the in-phase portion and the quadrature-phase portion of the transmission chain based on the estimation of the frequency domain imbalance. The UE may receive, from the network entity, a data transmission based on transmitting the indication of the estimation of the frequency domain imbalance.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit signaling that configures a wireless device to use a multi-level coding (MLC) procedure to communicate with a base station. Based on receiving the signaling, the wireless device may select a channel quality indicator (CQI) index from a set of CQI indices that are associated with an MLC procedure. In some examples, the wireless device selects the CQI index from a set of CQI indices that includes both bit-interleaved coded modulation (BICM)-based and MLC-based CQI indices. In other examples, the wireless device selects the CQI index from a set of CQI indices that includes solely MLC-based CQI indices. The wireless device may transmit the selected CQI index to the base station. And the base station may select a modulation and coding scheme for subsequent transmissions to the wireless device based on the received CQI index.

A first wireless device may identify a set of data resource elements for transmitting data in one or more symbols periods. The first wireless device may generate, for the one or more symbol periods based on the set of data resource elements, a sequence of a set of pilot resource elements associated with the set of data resource elements, the sequence of the set of pilot resource elements including a phase tracking reference signal.     Abstract: Methods related to wireless communication systems and the transmission of code blocks on such systems are provided. A wireless communication device interleaves a plurality of code block segments in time and frequency. The segments are interleaved by mapping a first code block segment of the plurality of code block segments to a first resource located at a first time and a first frequency, wherein the first code block segment is associated with a first code block, and mapping a second code block segment of the plurality of code block segments to a second resource based on at least one of the first time or the first frequency of the first resource and a code block proximity parameter, wherein the second code block segment is associated with a second code block different from the first code block. The device then transmits the plurality of interleaved code block segments. Other features are also claimed and described.
