Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating in an integrated access backhaul (IAB) network are provided. A first wireless communication device transmits to a second wireless device during a first one of a plurality of slots; and receives a second transmission from the second wireless device during a second one of the plurality of slots. The second transmission includes link quality information about the first transmission and scheduling information for a third transmission between the first and second wireless devices.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless node may identify a first set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), within a synchronization signal (SS) burst set, that are used to indicate random access channel (RACH) occasions for a first wireless link type, the SS burst set including a second set of SSBs used to indicate RACH occasions for a second wireless link type; and transmit a RACH message in a RACH occasion corresponding to an SSB included in the first set of SSBs. In some aspects, a wireless node may configure an SS burst set to include a first set of SSBs to be used to indicate RACH occasions for a first wireless link type, and a second set of SSBs to be used to indicate RACH occasions for a second wireless link type; and transmit the SS burst set. Other aspects are provided.

In some aspects, a wireless communication device may receive information that identifies a time offset associated with backhaul physical random access channel (PRACH) resources. The time offset may be different from a time offset that is identified based at least in part on a PRACH configuration index The wireless communication device may identify a set of backhaul PRACH resources based at least in part on the time offset. The wireless communication device may transmit a RACH transmission using the identified set of backhaul PRACH resources. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A relay node at a base station may configure a first radio channel with a first priority and a first priority ID, and configure a second radio channel with a second priority and a second priority ID. The base station may configure a third radio channel with a first bearer ID and a first mapping to the first priority, and configure a fourth radio channel with a second bearer ID and a second mapping to the second priority. The relay node may forward packets from the third radio channel to the first radio channel based on the first mapping and insert the first priority ID into a header in the packets. The relay node may forward packets from the fourth radio channel to the second radio channel based on the second mapping, and insert the second priority ID into a header in the packets.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for determining a maximum transport block size. In certain aspects, a method comprises receiving, from a user equipment (UE), information indicative of a size of a buffer at the UE for storing data received from the BS. The method further includes determining a maximum transport block size based on the size of the buffer at the UE and a number of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes used by the BS to send data to the UE. The method further comprises transmitting a transport block with a size not exceeding the maximum transport block size to the UE.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by an integrated access and backhaul network (IAB) donor transmits a configuration message on a source path to a first IAB node via a first distributed unit of the IAB donor. The method also instructs the first IAB node to delay delivery of the configuration message to a second node. The method migrates at least part of communications to the first IAB node from the source path to a target path via a second distributed unit. Another method of wireless communication is executed by a first integrated access and backhaul network (IAB) node. The method receives a first configuration message over a source path to a first IAB donor via a first distributed unit of the first IAB donor. The method also delays delivery of the first configuration message to a second node until a trigger occurs.
