    Abstract: Aspects are provided which improve the effectiveness of conflict resolution between a scheduled uplink transmission and a carrier-switched sounding reference signal (SRS). A UE receives a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from a base station. The PDCCH schedules an uplink transmission on a first carrier. The UE determines whether to drop one of the uplink transmission or transmission of a SRS on a second carrier different than the first carrier based on a timing between a reception time of the PDCCH and a scheduled time for transmitting the SRS. By factoring the timing into determination, situations may be eliminated where the UE is unaware that an uplink transmission will be scheduled at the time of the carrier-switched SRS.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some non-terrestrial networks, the movement of satellites may result in the movement of cell coverage. A user equipment (UE) may experience changing cell coverage due to the movement of cell coverage, even if the UE is stationary. A UE may be configured to determine a cell is serving two or more earth-fixed tracking areas, determine whether to monitor paging resources of a first earth-fixed tracking area or a second earth-fixed tracking area, and monitor the selected paging resources. In some aspects, the UE may determine that a cell serves two or more earth-fixed tracking areas based on a received control message including multiple tracking area indicators. In some aspects, the UE may determine which paging resources to monitor based on a geographic position of the UE.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adjusting PDCCH processing or PDCCH DMRS processing, such as to avoid cell-specific reference signal (CRS) of long-term-revolution (LTE). For example, a UE may adjust at least one of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) processing or PDCCH demodulation reference signal (DMRS) processing of a first radio access technology (RAT), such as LTE, based on whether one or more resource elements (REs) of a PDCCH candidate in a PDCCH monitoring occasion of the first RAT is configured as overlapping with one or more REs of a CRS of a second RAT, such as 5G new radio (NR).
