    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to bit reduction in resource information. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the number of bits to indicate the resource allocation is reduced and the network device generate the control information based on an offset associated with the bit reduction. In this way, multiple transmission opportunities for the transmission of Msg3 of the random access procedure are provided without increasing the signaling overhead.

A method comprises determining a second set of resource configuration for positioning reference signal (PRS) mapping to resource elements in the second set, wherein the second set is an extension of the first set of resource configuration for PRS mapping with additional resource elements.     Abstract: Methods and apparatus for transmitting positioning measurement report are provided. The method includes a step of receiving a location information request from a serving base station or from a location server, a step of determining timing for transmitting a positioning measurement report, a step of generating a report assisted message based on the determined timing for transmitting the positioning measurement report, and a step of transmitting the report assisted message to the serving base station. The key idea of this disclosure is requesting UL resources for positioning measurement report in advance by transmitting a report assisted message. Consequently, the UE can transmit the positioning measurement report just after the measurement data being generated. The disclosure can minimize the delay from positioning measurement data generation to the positioning measurement report.

An apparatus in a communication network may be configured to transmit to a location server in the communication network information of one or more non-preferred resources for positioning reference signal, PRS, measurement at a terminal device in the communication network, and receive a positioning configuration related indication from the location server.     Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to adjustment of contention window (CW) for listen before talk (LBT). A device determines a target size of a contention window for listen before talk at least in part based on at least one of a first metric and a second metric. The first metric indicates a level of intra-system activity of one of the plurality of systems. The second metric indicates a level of inter-system activity of the plurality of systems. The at least one of first and second metrics are determined by the device based on one or more messages in a set of resources shared by a plurality of systems. This solution enables the device to adjust the LBT by determining the target size of the contention window. By doing so, the device may determine an appropriate size of the contention window even when HARQ feedback is not available. In this way, a system may be able to coexist fairly with other systems in unlicensed spectrum.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to sidelink (SL) transmission enhancement. A first device determines a channel occupancy time (COT) to be shared by the first device and at least one second device for transmissions on a shared radio frequency band; selects a first time slot during the COT for a transmission; and performs the transmission in the first time slot by extending the transmission to a first guard period of the first time slot or to a second guard period of a second time slot prior to the first time slot during the COT. By doing so, a channel access procedure requiring a smaller time gap between transmissions can be selected and performed, which can thus improve the flexibility of channel access procedures for SL transmission in the shared frequency band.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a short control signaling transmission for sidelink communication in an unlicensed spectrum. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, if a control signaling is to be transmitted to a second device via a short control signaling transmission, a first device determines whether the short control signaling transmission is available based on at least information related to a counter, the counter being used for counting occasions within a period for the short control signaling transmission at a sidelink interface. If the short control signaling transmission is available, the first device transmits the control signaling to the second device on a first resource configured for the short control signaling transmission. In this way, constraints for the usage of the short control signaling transmission can be satisfied, and a reliable transmission of sidelink control signaling in the unlicensed spectrum can be achieved.
