    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of PRS design for low power tracking The method comprises receiving from a second device an indication that a Sounding Reference Signal, SRS, is to be used for a positioning process of the first device unless a further indication is received; and transmitting a SRS to a third device and a fourth device, the third device being responsible for measuring a position of the first device in the positioning process. In this way, a SRS can be applied for multiple cells and the handover can be avoided or SRS resources re-configuration can be avoided even if the handover occurs at the UE. The power consumption and the positioning latency of the UE can be reduced. Meanwhile, the signalling overhead to setup RRC connection may also be reduced.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to SSID association with address information. A network device obtains an address generation mode indication from a terminal device. The address generation mode indication indicates that address information of the terminal device is generated in a static mode or a dynamic mode. The network device further receives a probe request message comprising the address information from the terminal device. The network device further determines an SSID for the terminal device based, at least in part, on the address information and associates the SSID with the address information. In this way, a unique SSID associated with address information of the terminal device can be assigned to the terminal device, which ensures the terminal device to fast associate the network.

An apparatus in a communication network may be configured to transmit to a location server in the communication network information of one or more non-preferred resources for positioning reference signal, PRS, measurement at a terminal device in the communication network, and receive a positioning configuration related indication from the location server.     Abstract: Methods and apparatus for transmitting positioning measurement report are provided. The method includes a step of receiving a location information request from a serving base station or from a location server, a step of determining timing for transmitting a positioning measurement report, a step of generating a report assisted message based on the determined timing for transmitting the positioning measurement report, and a step of transmitting the report assisted message to the serving base station. The key idea of this disclosure is requesting UL resources for positioning measurement report in advance by transmitting a report assisted message. Consequently, the UE can transmit the positioning measurement report just after the measurement data being generated. The disclosure can minimize the delay from positioning measurement data generation to the positioning measurement report.
