Abstract: A device, method, apparatus and computer readable storage medium for RMA generation are disclosed. A first device performs timing synchronization with a second device (210). The first device generates, at a first time instance, a first random media access control address, RMA, in accordance with a rule configuration information, to communicate with the second device (220). Further, the first device generates, at a second time instance, a second RMA in accordance with the rule configuration information to communicate with the second device (230). The rule configuration information comprises time instructions comprising information corresponding to the first time instance, and information on a period of time starting from the first time instance and ending at the second time instance.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for multi-cell positioning. In example embodiments, a method is provided. The method comprises transmitting, from a first network device, a first reference signal to a terminal device served by a second network device. The method further comprises receiving a second reference signal from the second network device. The method further comprises determining a first time difference between a time at which the first RS is transmitted and a time at which the second reference signal is received. In addition, the method comprises transmitting information on the first time difference to a location server. As such, the location server can determine positioning information about the terminal device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses, and computer readable medium for positioning measurement report. The method comprises: performing, at a first device and based on a set of measurement parameters, positioning measurements: and reporting, at a reporting instance and to a second device, a first part of the positioning measurements with an indication regarding whether or not the first part of the positioning measurements is to be jointly utilized with a second part of the positioning measurements to estimate a location of the first device, the second part of the positioning measurements being previously reported to the second device. In this way, the UE is capable of providing assistant information about location change, which may in turn improve the positioning accuracy. In addition, unnecessary measurements on all the PRS resources can be avoided, thus such a reporting mechanism can reduce power consumption at the UE.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to communication in sidelink positioning. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a second device generates a second PRS for positioning of a first device by using a set of second devices including the second device and transmits the second PRS to the first device. The first device communicates with the set of second devices via a sidelink interface. The second PRS is at least transmitted over a bandwidth occupied by a second set of sidelink data channels from the set of second devices to the first device in a time slot. In this way, an improved transmission of PRS from a supporting device is achieved, and efficient and low latency sidelink based ranging/positioning is allowed.
