    摘要: The present exemplary embodiments relate to a touch display device and a driving method thereof. A touch sensing time period is divided into a period when the touch is sensed by a self capacitive sensing manner and a period when the touch is sensed by a mutual capacitive sensing manner and a ground signal modulated to be the same as the touch driving signal is output to the display panel during the time period when the touch is sensed by the self capacitive sensing manner. By doing this, the parasitic capacitance in the display panel is reduced, sensitivity of touch sensing is improved, and various touch functions are provided.

    摘要: The present exemplary embodiments provide a touch display device which connects a touch driving circuit and a plurality of touch sensors using a plurality of dummy pixels disposed on a display panel to recognize touch event of a user. When the touch wiring line is implemented, the same material as the pixel electrode or the source line included in the plurality of dummy pixels is used so that a separate process for implementing the touch wiring line is not necessary. Further, in a pixel structure in which one data line is disposed for every two pixels, the source line is disposed in a region where the data line is not disposed to be used as a touch wiring line. Therefore, the touch recognizable area may expand as compared with a case using a pixel metal.

    摘要: A display driver circuit comprises first circuitry to generate a touch drive signal, and second circuitry to provide the touch drive signal to touch sense electrodes of the display device and a touch data signal to data lines of the display device during a touch period and to provide display data signals to data lines of the display device during a display period. A touch gate signal is provided to gate lines of the display device during the touch period. The touch drive signal, the touch data signal, and the touch gate signal mimic a reference waveform, but amplitudes of one or more of the touch drive signal, the touch data signal, and the touch gate signal are overdriven by their respective overdrive amplitude with respect to the reference waveform during their respective overdrive duration.

    摘要: A touch screen panel includes a substrate and a black matrix located on the substrate in a mesh pattern. On the black matrix are formed a first touch sense electrode and a second sense electrode. The first touch sense electrode extends in a first direction and the second touch sense electrode has a plurality of blocks extending in a second direction. An insulation layer with openings exposes portions of the blocks of the second touch sense electrode. A connection electrode connects the adjacent blocks of the second touch sense electrode via the openings in the insulation layer. The first touch sense electrode and the second touch sense electrode are covered by the pattern of the black matrix.
