摘要: A control system for a PWM inverter may reduce a DC component of an output of the inverter. An output voltage signal may be attenuated with a low-pass filter to produce a signal with a high DC content. A duty cycle of an output of the low pass filter may be determined with a zero-crossing detector. A calculation may be performed to determine a magnitude of a DC offsetting voltage that may offset the DC component of the inverter output. The inverter may be commanded to produce a DC offsetting voltage with an opposite polarity from the DC component of the inverter output. The opposite polarity DC offsetting voltage may effectively cancel the DC component of the inverter output. A monitoring system may employ an alternate system for determining the level of the DC component, thus providing a desirable redundancy to the system.

摘要: An efficient method for parsing HTML pages identifies pages containing a mix of static and dynamic content. The pages are parsed to form abstract syntax trees (ASTs), which are then cached along with the pages. When a later version of a page is retrieved, it is compared against the cached version, and only those portions of the AST that contain different content are reparsed.

摘要: An internal combustion engine is provided with at least one modulator for adjusting an air mass in a cylinder. It is also provided with an injection valve for metering fuel to which fuel is supplied via a fuel supply device. A maximum fuel quantity which can be metered to the cylinder per working stroke is determined. Depending on the maximum meterable fuel quantity, a maximum producible torque is determined. An air mass flow is determined depending on an air/fuel ratio to be adjusted and the maximum meterable fuel quantity is adjusted by controlling the at least one modulator for adjusting the air mass. The injection valve is controlled in accordance with the maximum meterable fuel quantity when the required torque is greater or equal the maximum producible torque.

摘要: The present invention relates to isolated nucleic acid molecules encoding endogenous cotton chitinases and corresponding promoters, which are preferentially expressed in secondary walled cells during secondary wall deposition. The polypeptide encoded by the nucleic acid molecule, a DNA construct linking the isolated nucleic acid molecule with a promoter, the DNA construct incorporated in an expression system, a host cell, a plant, or a plant seed are also disclosed. The present invention also relates to a DNA construct linking the isolated promoters with a second DNA as well as expression systems, host cells, plants, or plant seeds containing the DNA construct. Methods of imparting resistance to insects and fungi, regulating the fiber cellulose content, and methods of expressing a gene preferentially in secondary walled cells during secondary wall deposition are also disclosed.

摘要: For this method, a portion of the exhaust gas is recirculated from the exhaust train via an external line to the intake manifold and is mixed with the fresh air supplied to the cylinder, and a further portion of the exhaust gas is supplied once again through the valves internally to the combustion space of the engine. The internally recirculated amount of exhaust gas is adjusted by controlling the cam phases (VVT) as a function of the engine load and engine rpm. A target value (VVT_EGR_SP) for the internal recirculation rate of the exhaust gas is calculated as the difference between the target value (EGR_SP) of the recirculation of the exhaust gas and the external recirculation rate of the exhaust gas (EXT_EGR_RATE).

摘要: There is described a method for determination of an application time for a tank ventilation on an internal combustion engine. An excessive enrichment of the air/fuel mixture can be avoided by means of a timely application of injection correction as result of the tank ventilation. According to said method, a threshold value comparison is carried out for a modified lambda control deviation, made up of the lambda control deviation and a pseudo lambda control deviation, whereby the pseudo lambda control deviation depends on the deviation of the lambda values from a given lambda set value.

摘要: An internal combustion engine comprises an intake tract in which a throttle valve is disposed. The engine also comprises a camshaft which acts on gas inlet valves associated with respective cylinders. A phase-adjustment device is used to adjust a phase between the camshaft and a crankshaft. A desired air mass flow in a combustion chamber of the cylinder is determined depending on a charge requirement requested by the driver. The desired air mass flow is adjusted by varying the phase between the camshaft and the crankshaft if the desired air mass flow can be adjusted by varying the phase while substantially maintaining an actual pressure difference upstream and downstream of the throttle valve. Otherwise, the desired air mass flow is adjusted by varying the opening angle of the throttle valve.

摘要: An Interactive Mobile Aquatic Probing and Surveillance system. The system includes a remote aquatic or amphibious agent which is controlled by a typically land-based computer host. The agent is a field robot in the form of a comparatively small and inexpensive, untethered, self-propelled, aquatic or amphibious, non-submersible vehicle that preferably carries physical and water characteristic sensors, as well as other operational equipment for use on relatively small bodies of water and wetlands. The host interacts with a human operator and provides control commands to and receives data from the agent in real time via a wireless communication between the agent and the host. The control commands include guidance commands including navigational and propulsion commands as well as commands for operating the sensors and various other equipment carried by the agent.

摘要: The present invention connects two independent plastic optical fiber channels simultaneously, in which optic signals can be transmitted along two optic passes through a single mechanical rotational interface. The first channel of light path consists of a pair of plastic optic fibers with larger-core, co-axially fixed in 2 holders respectively. The light signal from one of the fiber can be directly coupled into another fiber. A number of smaller-core plastic optic fibers for second channel of light path are circumferentially arranged in the peripheral space of the first channel fibers. They are blind-spot free during rotation and are ideal for machine control applications such as SERCOS Interfaces. The rugged design permits underwater usage. Damaged fibers can be easily replaced without costly repairs of the device itself.

摘要: Methods and related systems are described for making an electromagnetic induction survey of a formation surrounding a cased section of a borehole. An electromagnetic transmitter and/or receiver are deployed into the cased section of the borehole. One or more additional devices are used to measure the properties of a conductive casing relating to conductivity, thickness and magnetic permeability. A casing coefficient is then calculated that can then be used for the processing of the deep-sensing induction measurements.
