The method includes: An access network device determines first information for configuring a data transmission rule of a first service, and send the first information to a first terminal device in N terminal devices, where the N terminal devices are related to the first service, and N is an integer greater than 1. Based on control on an access network side, data of the first service may be transmitted on the N terminal devices based on the configured data transmission rule, and the access network device can flexibly configure the data transmission rule, so that a data transmission rule that meets requirements, such as high reliability and a high rate, of the first service can be configured, to improve transmission performance of the first service.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a paging method, a device, and a storage medium. The method includes: A core network device obtains time information of a paging moment at which a first network device pages a terminal device, and sends first message to the first network device based on the time information of the paging moment at which the first network device pages the terminal device, wherein the first message is used to page the terminal device. In the embodiments of this application, paging moments for paging the terminal device in various cells are dispersed. In this way, after the terminal device accesses a cell, the terminal device is no longer paged in another cell in which paging of the terminal device is not started. Therefore, paging overheads of paging the terminal device can be reduced in a paging area.
