Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that allow a server of a first content service provider, to send a query to a server of another service provider. The query includes a user ID and list of content IDs related to media content available on the first service. In response to the query, the server of the second service retrieves personalized content ratings for each content item associated with the list of content IDs, where the personalized content ratings are generated by a recommendation model of the second service. The personalized content ratings are transmitted back to the first service and displayed on a first service user interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for updating a representation of a virtual payment card in response to a virtual transaction between a first device (e.g., a user device) and a second device (e.g., a merchant point-of-sale device). The systems and methods may be used to authenticate user identity with an additional layer of security and/or combat phishing attempts intended to dupe users into disclosing confidential profile information. In response to a completed transaction, the second device delivers interactivity data (e.g., animation data, card image data, contextual data, notification sound data, etc.) to the first device, which actuates a distinct representation (e.g., an animation, a graphic image, a notification sound, etc.) of the card image of the virtual payment card used in the completed transaction.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for determining that a conferencing device participating in a video conference via a conferencing server is a mobile device. The mobile device may be performing virtual background processing to generate for display a virtual background during the video conference. Based on a monitored parameter of the mobile device, a determination may be made whether the virtual background processing being performed by the mobile device should be offloaded to an edge computing device. In response to determining the virtual background processing should be offloaded, at least a portion of the virtual background processing being performed by the mobile device may be offloaded to the edge computing device, and the edge computing device may be configured to receive a video feed from the conferencing device, modify the video feed by performing the virtual background processing, and transmit the modified video feed to the conferencing server.
