摘要: Systems and techniques are described that enable users to interact and share content through a social network application and/or service with other users. A social networking system may determine that a first application and a second application are installed on a device and are both useable to share content between a first account and one or more contact accounts. The social networking system may receive content associated with the first application and the second application and may generate a notification associated with the content. The social networking system may determine which of the first application or the second application to use to present the notification, and may output the notification to the determined first application and/or the second application.

摘要: An online system receives information describing (an) item(s) associated with an entity and a content item including an image. The online system accesses and applies a trained machine-learning model to predict a probability that the content item includes an image of an item associated with the entity. If the probability is at least a threshold probability, a link to a page associated with the item that includes a set of the information describing the item(s) is added to the content item by the online system. Responsive to receiving an interaction with the link from a user presented with the content item, the online system determines a measure of similarity between the item and each additional item based on the information describing the item(s), arranges the set of the information describing the item(s) within the page based on the measure(s) of similarity, and sends the page for display to the user.

摘要: Techniques are described that update a caller on call progress status using various effects based on a likelihood that the call will connect with the callee, and/or a likelihood that the caller will prematurely terminate the call. In some examples, a machine-learned model may determine a likelihood that a call will connect based on conditions associated with the callee. In some cases, a machine-learned model may determine a likelihood that a call will be prematurely terminated by the caller based on conditions associated with the caller. Animations, haptic outputs, sounds, and/or other content may be used to indicate likelihood of the call connecting to the caller.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for receiving, by a social networking system, from a domain, a request to publish a content item. The social networking system publishes the content item and receives a request to reshare the content item from a user. The social networking system responsively determines a reputability score for the domain based on a number of other domains that point to the domain in the context of the social network interface, and determines whether the reputability score exceeds a threshold score. If the reputability score exceeds the threshold, the social networking system publishes the content item using a default ranking. Otherwise, the content item is published using a discounted ranking derived from taking a discount from the default ranking such that the content item is ranked lower relative to other content items than it would have been if the default ranking had been used.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a client system of a user, a user input comprising a plurality of n-grams, parsing the user input to identify one or more overall intents, hidden intents, and slots associated with the one or more n-grams, wherein at least one of the hidden intents is non-resolvable for being associated with partial slot information corresponding to an n-gram that has not been resolved to a particular entity identifier, wherein the partial slot information is associated with two more entity identifiers of two or more entities, respectively, sending, to the client system, instructions for prompting the user to select one of the entities to be associated with the non-resolvable hidden intent, resolving the non-resolvable hidden intent based on the entity identifier of the entity selected by the user, and generating a response to the user input based on the resolved hidden intent.

摘要: Techniques to configure the network distribution of media compositions for transmission are described. An apparatus may comprise a user interface component of a messaging client on a client device operative to receive a media composition via a composition interface, the messaging client associated with a user account with a messaging system; and receive a transmission command via the composition interface; and a messaging component operative to transmit a media composition package from the client device to the messaging system in response to the transmission command, the media composition package comprising the media composition, the media composition package addressed to a media composition distribution group for the user account, the media composition distribution group determined based on, at least in part, a messaging history for the user account with the messaging system. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
