    Abstract: A fungicidal composition containing a fungicidally effective amount of the compound of Formula I, (S)-1,1-bis(4-fluorophenyl)propan-2-yl (3-acetoxy-4-methoxypicolinoyl)-L-alaninate, and at least one fungicide selected from the group consisting of tebuconazole, prothioconazole, difenconazole, epoxiconazole, mefentrifluconazole, benzovindiflupyr, penthiopyrad, fluxapyroxad, bixafen, fluopyram, picoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin, azoxystrobin, mancozeb and chlorothalonil, provides synergistic control of selected fungi.

    Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided which employ a silencing element that, when ingested by a pest, such as a Coleopteran plant pest or a Diabarotica plant pest, decrease the expression of a target sequence in the pest. In specific embodiments, the decrease in expression of the target sequence controls the pest and thereby the methods and compositions are capable of limiting damage to a plant. The present invention provides various target polynucleotides set forth in any one of SEQ ID NOS: 1-236 or active variants and fragments thereof, wherein a decrease in expression of one or more the sequences in the target pest controls the pest (i.e., has insecticidal activity). Further provided are silencing elements which when ingested by the pest decrease the level of the target polypeptide and thereby control the pest. In specific embodiment, the pest is D. virgifera virgifera, D. barberi, D. speciosa, or D. undecimpunctata howardi. Plants, plant part, bacteria and other host cells comprising the silencing elements or an active variant or fragment thereof of the invention are also provided.

    Abstract: This disclosure concerns compositions and methods for promoting transcription of a nucleotide sequence in a plant or plant cell, employing a promoter from a GmTEFs1 gene. Some embodiments relate to a promoter or a 5′ UTR from a GmTEFs1 gene that functions in plants to promote transcription of operably linked nucleotide sequences. Other embodiments relate to a 3′ UTR or a terminator from a GmTEFs1 gene that functions in plants to promote transcription of operably linked nucleotide sequences.

    Abstract: Provided are methods and/or systems having advantages of cost effective, time saving, and informative user-friendly characteristics to accomplish trait introgression. The methods provided comprise determining presence of omega-3 fatty acids (for example docosahexanoic acid or DHA; docosapentaenoic acid or DPA; Alpha linolenic acid or ALA; and eicosapentaenoic acid or EPA) using Fourier Transformed Infra Red (FTIR) spectrum. The use of FTIR enables analysis of the oil contained in the seeds using a multivariate-based Mid-FTIR model. The methods and/or systems provided advantages of non-destructive analysis to provide information to facilitate trait introgression and other breeding applications.
