Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate generally to electrical and electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, wearable, hand held, and portable computing devices for facilitating communication of information. Disclosed are wireless media devices that automatically discover and automatically configure themselves to communicate with and seamlessly operate with one or more wireless devices. A backend service in communication with the media devices and/or wireless devices queries the wireless device to obtain prerequisite configuration data (P-Data) and analyzes the P-Data to generate configuration data (C-Data) that is downloaded to the media device, the wireless device, or both. The C-Data is operative to configure the media device, the wireless device, or both. The backend service may be in wireless communication with one or more of the media devices. Media devices may include a proximity detection island for detecting presence and/or proximity of wireless user devices, users, and other objects.

The first sensor and the second sensor may be coupled to a wearable device. The user-related data may include galvanic skin response data. The information associated with the trend may be displayed at a web browser.
Abstract:
Techniques for component protective overmolding include selectively applying a securing coating substantially over one or more elements coupled to a framework, molding a first protective layer over the framework, the one or more elements, and the securing coating, after the securing coating has been selectively applied, and molding a second protective layer over the first protective layer. In one embodiment, the second protective layer is configured to provide a surface configured to receive a pattern and is removable if a defect is yielded during inspection. Further, the securing coating may be a curable material, such as an ultra violet curable material.

Embodiments of the relate generally to electrical and electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, and wearable computing devices for facilitating health and wellness-related information. More specifically, disclosed are systems, methods, devices, computer readable medium, and apparatuses configured to determine activity and activity types, including gestures, from sensed motion signals using, for example, a wearable device (or carried device) and one or more motion sensors. In one embodiment, an apparatus can include a wearable housing and a motion sensor. The apparatus can also include a signal preprocessor, which may include a sample rate controller configured to modify a sample rate of a motion sensor signal to form an adjusted sample rate with which to sample the motion sensor signal. Further, the apparatus can include an intermediate motion signal generator and an activity processor configured to identify an activity based on the intermediate motion signals.

Some embodiments also include an adaptive optics module configured to determine an optical distortion to be applied to the image.
Abstract:
Mobile device speaker control may include: monitoring one or more devices coupled (e.g., wired or wirelessly) with a data network, receiving one or more data packets from each of the one or more devices, filtering received data packets by evaluating a received signal strength (e.g., RSSI) of the received packets. The received packets may be ordered in a priority based on a value, and comparing the received signal strength of each of the received packets to a threshold to determine whether the one or more devices are to perform an action; and/or detecting a device within a proximity of a speaker box coupled with a data network, filtering a data packet received from the device to determine a received signal strength associated with the device, comparing the received signal strength to a threshold, and determining whether an action is to be performed based on a result of the comparing.
