    Abstract: Various aspects include methods for beam sweep configuration of a millimeter wave (MMW) repeater in a fifth generation (5G) network during random access channel (RACH) procedures. Various embodiments include receiving an RACH 1 message relayed by an MMW repeater, determining a beam sweep schedule for use by the MMW repeater in relaying a random access response (RAR) message in response to the RACH 1 message, wherein the beam sweep schedule indicates a series of RAR messages to be sent successively and a different transmit (TX) beam sweep configuration to be used by the MMW repeater for each of the series of RAR messages, generating an RAR control message indicating the beam sweep schedule, sending, by the processor of the network device, the RAR control message to the MMW repeater, and sending the series of RAR messages to the MMW repeater.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support delaying the application of reconfiguration messages. An integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node transmit or receive, along a first signaling path, a reconfiguration message indicating the first IAB node to postpone applying a reconfiguration message until a second signaling path becomes available. The first IAB node may send a reconfiguration complete message to a first IAB donor node along the first path and wait to perform a procedure with the first IAB donor node. When the second path becomes available, the first IAB node and the second IAB node may then perform the procedure. In some cases, delaying the reconfiguration may involve postponing the forwarding of messages received at the first IAB node.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reporting of a beam correspondence state. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first wireless device. The method includes, based on detecting the occurrence of a triggering event, determining one or more beam correspondence states for one or more beams or portions of beams used by the first wireless device for communication. The method further includes transmitting one or more indications of the one or more beam correspondence states to a second wireless device, wherein the one or more indications of the one or more beam correspondence states indicate whether the first wireless device has the capability of beam correspondence between the one or more beams and corresponding one or more transmit or receive beams used by the first wireless device for communication.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for multiple timing advance offsets that may be used in communications between wireless devices on a wireless communications system. A first timing advance offset may be a fixed offset that has a predetermined value or is selected from a set of available predetermined values, and a second timing advance offset may be adjustable by a wireless device. The second timing advance offset may be used in cases where relatively large distances between wireless devices are present in a system, where certain fixed timing advances are used in addition to or irrespective of a receiving devices propagation delay, where one or more parent nodes have an associated timing reference, or combinations thereof.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a method for wireless communication includes transmitting, by a wireless communication device, symbol configuration information for a particular transmission time interval (TTI). The symbol configuration information indicates one or more subsets of symbols of the particular TTI, and the wireless communication device is operating in a full duplex mode. The method for wireless communication further includes transmitting, by the wireless communication device, Quasi-Colocation (QCL) information for one or more subsets of the symbols, where the QCL information indicates multiple QCL per TTI. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
