    Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, directed to configuration of communication states for bandwidth parts (BWPs) in which a network node may communicate with a user equipment (UE). Such communication states may be implemented to conserve power and serve cell traffic. In some aspects, an apparatus may be configured to obtain an indication associated with configuring a first set of BWPs from a network node, each of the first set of BWPs corresponding to a first communication state of a set of communication states for the network node. The apparatus may be further configured to communicate with the network node on a set of resources in one of the first set of BWPs, the set of resources being associated with the first communication state of the set of communication states.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information that configures a reference signal (RS) transmission with a repetition factor, wherein the configuration information indicates one or more parameters for the RS transmission including at least one of: a sequence hopping configuration associated with the RS transmission, a cyclic shift offset configuration associated with the RS transmission, or a frequency hopping configuration indicating subcarrier hopping across adjacent RS symbols. The UE may perform the RS transmission using the repetition factor in accordance with the configuration. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to delaying transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS). A user equipment (UE) may transmit an SRS a certain number of slots after downlink control information (DCI) that triggers the transmission of the SRS. A base station may configure the UE with a set of delay parameters that are mapped to different bit values. The DCI that triggers the transmission of an SRS may include a bit field for indicating one of the delay parameters. A base station may set a bit in the bit field of the DCI to indicate that the UE is to use the corresponding delay parameter for the transmission of the SRS. A UE that receives the DCI may map the value of the DCI bit field to the set of delay parameters to determine the delay parameter to use for the SRS transmission.
